Mocking the Advisory Committee
Grades from the NFL Advisory Committee are being processed for every underclassmen to submit his paperwork, but sicne that information is limited in publicity, we're here to give our own grades to the confirmed underclassmen.
Arkansas RB Darren McFadden
Grade: Top 5- McFadden would be most team's #1 player.
Advice: Leave
Arkansas RB Felix Jones
Grade: Round Two
Advice: Stay- He will be the man in Arkansas next year.
Boise State RB Ian Johnson
Grade: Round Three
Advice: Stay- Has nothing to gain by leaving now.
Boise State OT Ryan Clady
Grade: Top 15
Advice: Leave- Clady would be the #2 offensive lineman in the class, behind only Jake Long.
California WR DeSean Jackson
Grade: First Round
Advice: Leave- Jackson could do well to stay at Cal, but his stock will not be higher after another season.
Central Florida RB Kevin Smith
Grade: First Round
Advice: Leave- Depending on the other underclassmen that come out, Smith could be a sure-fire first round pick.
Clemson QB Cullen Harper
Grade: Second-Third Round
Advice: Stay- Harper needs to work on his game and gain more experience.
Clemson RB James Davis
Grade: Top 15
Advice: Leave- In a thin senior class, Davis would be a top 3 back.
Florida TE Cornelius Ingram
Grade: Second-Third Round
Advice: Stay- Ingram will be used more in the Florida offense if he returns to school.
Florida DE Derrick Harvey
Grade: Top 25
Advice: Leave- Harvey could have been a first-round pick last year, he's ready.
FSU LB Geno Hayes
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- Hayes needs to refine his game and clean up his record before he's ready for the NFL.
Illinois RB Rashad Mendenhall
Grade: Top 15
Advice: Leave- Mendenhall's star can't rise any higher. The only thing keeping him in school would be the other running backs coming out.
Indiana WR James Hardy
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- His all-around game lacks, he's not ready.
Kansas OT Anthony Collins
Grade: Third Round
Advice: Stay- This All American had a good season, but this draft is loaded with tackles.
Kansas CB Aqib Talib
Grade: First Round
Advice: Leave- Had a rough end to the season, but he's the type of player every team wants.

Advice: Stay- Needs a solid season and to show more of a pass rush.

Advice: Stay- Favorite needs to prove he can play without Glenn Dorsey beside him.
Maryland LB Erin Henderson
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- Will not overtake James Laurinaitis, needs more experience.

Advice: Leave- He's a freak of an athlete, will be a high pick on potential alone.

Advice: Leave- In a deep tackle class, but many teams are looking for a franchise left tackle.
Ohio State QB Todd Boeckman
Grade: Third Round
Advice: Stay- Needs more than one year as a starter.
Ohio State WR Brian Robiskie
Grade: Third Round
Advice: Stay- Has to prove himself as a #1 receiver first.
Ohio State WR Brian Hartline
Grade: Third Round
Advice: Stay- At best a complimentary receiver.
Ohio State OT Alex Boone
Grade: First Round
Advice: Stay- Could be the top offensive tackle next year.
Ohio State DE Vhernon Gholston
Grade: Top 5
Advice: Leave- His stock won't get higher after beating Jake Long numerous times.
Ohio State LB James Lauranitis

Advice: Leave- Teams love him, and reportedly his family needs the money.
Ohio State LB Marcus Freeman
Grade: Top 25
Advice: Leave- A tremendous athlete, there are not many outside linebackers like him in the NFL.
Ohio State CB Malcolm Jenkins
Grade: Top 15
Advice: Leave- In a deep draft for corners, Jenkins may be the best overall.
Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly

Advice: Leave- Would be challenged only by Manningham.

Advice: Leave- Guaranteed to be the first guard taken.

Advice: Leave- Had a dominating season, there is not much he needs to improve on.
Oklahoma CB Reggie Smith
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- This class is too deep for him. He needs to work on his man coverage.
Oregon RB Jonathan Stewart
Grade: First Round
Advice: Stay- With McFadden a lock and Mendenhall likely to enter, Stewart should stay in Eugene for one more season.
Penn State CB Justin King
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- Needs one dominating season of play.
Rutgers RB Ray Rice
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- Is a Heisman candidate, and his game doesn't translate well to the NFL.
Texas A&M TE Martellus Bennett
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Stay- Needs more consistency as a receiver.
Vanderbilt WR Earl Bennett
Grade: Second Round
Advice: Leave- Could shoot up boards with a good work out.
Virginia Tech CB Brandon Flowers
Grade: First Round
Advice: Leave- Might move to safety, but he's ready to start in the NFL.
Virginia Tech CB Victor Harris
Grade: Top 15- Could challenge to be the top corner drafted.
Advice: Leave
West Virginia RB Steve Slaton
Grade: First Round
Advice: Leave- If Rich Rodriguez leaves, so should Slaton.
Wisconsin TE Travis Beckum
Grade: Top 25
Advice: Leave- It is a weak tight end class, Beckum is a stud receiver.
Wisconsin CB Jack Ikewguono
Grade: Round 2
Advice: Stay- This CB class could be very deep.

Interesting that he gets a second round grade with the comment "too short."
He reminds me of another Texan who had success in a wide-open Midwestern offense, who also happened to go in the second round because of height concerns -- Drew Brees.

I was at every Missouri game this year, well actually for the last three years, at what Daniel does from the gun in their offense makes me think he can be a good pro QB if a coach is smart and plays to his strengths.
