McFadden and Jones officially enter draft
One's no surprise and the other is a slight surprise but McFadden and Felix Jones held a joint news conference today and annouced they'll both in the upcoming draft. McFadden is regarded as the top player in the draft and Jones could go in the first round as well. The first round of the draft should see quite a few RBs and OTs selected.
On a side note, Bobby Petrino finally got some justice as he'll lose the entire backfield from the 2007 Razorbacks.

Oher also ready to make the jump
Mississippi LT, Michael Oher announced his decision to come out early for the draft and he'll add to the already very deep OT class. It's not out of the question that as many as 6 or even 7 OTs could go in the first round and that should mean that Pittsburgh should have a couple of choices when thier number comes up.
Is this a deep running back draft?
With both of the Arkansa guys coming out, and so many other junior running backs coming out, is it just my perception or is this draft especially deep in running backs? With so many it seems you can get one with a high ceiling in the second or third round.
deep at RBs as well
All the junior RB's that came out really helped the depth at running back and really pushed guys like Mike Hart, Matt Forte, and Tashard Choice down the list. Juniors who seem to be first round talents include:
McFadden (of course)
Mendenhall
Johnathon Stewart
Jamaal Charles (fringe)
Felix Jones (my guess is the Cowboys fall in love with him)
Choice (top ranked senior might slip into first)
But the second round should still be stocked full of guys like Forte, Hart, Kevin Smith, Steve Slaton.
Why do you think the Cowboys will fall in Love
Jones?

Jones
Mainly b/c there was talk that Jerry Jones really liked both McFadden and Felix Jones and that he had watched both of them extensively, partly because Arkansas is his alma mater. (I live in Dallas so I hear far more about the Cowboys than I would normally want to.)
