Second Round Quick Thoughts:

If you thought Jacksonville needed to address the Pass Rush, they took care of it.  Quentin Groves is an interesting fit for the Jaguars defense, but could bring some heat.  In a division with Peyton Manning, the quarterback must go down, and he must go down hard.

Jordy Nelson, in my opinion, should have been the first wide receiver taken.  Green Bay  got a nice weapon with the 36th pick.

One of the best picks is Trevor Laws going to the Philadelphia Eagles.  Laws is a hard working defensive tackle that will bring some intensity to the Eagles defensive line.

Packers finally shut the door on Brett Favre by drafting Brian Brohm, who collapsed into the late second round

The second round is moving slower than the first, which is remarkable.

Chilo Rachal, who went to the 49ers is a very sad story.  He entered the draft because his mother and father have severe medical issues. He might have been a first round pick next year, but the cost of medicine forced the issue.
