From a Bills fan POV

2 CBs??? didn’t the Bills just draft 3?

At this point I would doubt that the Bills go corner in the first again, not saying that it’s not going to happen just that I doubt it. 2 corners in the first 2 rounds, that I can say with more certainty, no.

The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

ya know

When I placed Mickens there in the 2nd round I forgot about Harris in the first. Good observation, I will change that…

Little help

My early wish list for the Bills:
Mays or Rolle
Any of the big 3 LB’s
Always looking for a strong DE.

Hope that helps.

reasoning

I understand completely why you wouldn’t want a CB. I don’t really see a need for a Safety although if Mays were available it would be crazy to pass him up. Simpson should be healthy and Wendling is not a bad backup. However, I honestly don’t keep up much with your team so I don’t know what the rumblings about these players are.

I agree you need a LB but the big 3 won’t be available unless you have a really bad year.

Greg Hardy or Greg Middleton will probably be available if you’re looking for a DE but they might be a reach.

I went with CB because you can never have too many, especially facing the Pats twice a year.

Safety

The Bills want to get more out of Donte’ Whitner, and are trying to move him to free safety. The problem is that there is no one better suited to play strong safety.
The Bills made a run at Marlon McCree in free agency, and if he had signed with them instead of the Broncos, he would be playing SS and Whitner would move over to FS. They have some players there, I just get the strong feeling that they are looking for some one more dynamic, Rolle and Mays fit that bill.

Sorry for the ramble, not sure you care, I just wanted to explain my thinking.

thank you

I’m glad you mentioned what’s going on with the Safety situation. It’s good to hear from fans of other teams what they think is going on with the ballclub.

Nice work

I really like Crabtree going 1st overall.

Hmm

WR and QB are solid choices for the Bears for rounds one and two. I don’t think they will be the worse team in the league though. They have won 33 regular season games over the past 3 years without a QB and both of the QB’s they have are more experienced than the previous two years. That’s my homer opinion, but I would be surprised if they didn’t win at least 6-8 games.

Also the Patriots and Chargers cannot both pick from 29 and 30. Those two picks come from the losers of the AFC and NFC championship games. You need one of those teams to be NFC.

I also would love to see projected records for how people are projecting next season. Maybe you do, but I’m not sure if people go through the schedule and project wins and losses for each game or if they just make up a spot that they may fall. For instance, the Raiders play their first 12 games against teams with a .395 win percentage from last year. They also play only one game against a team over .500 during that stretch. I don’t know if people look at that or not, but it is pretty significant.

Kick it to me... I'm open!

One more thing

I’m expecting another lineman to be picked early next year. Tait will no longer be able to move any day now. Maybe they will find there guy in FA, but they were burned on Musin Muhammed and Ricky Manning, Jr. And they don’t look like they are wanting to get into a price war and over pay for these type players.

funny thing

It’s funny you mention projected records because I was looking at the schedule last night and am working on that now. I’ll have the mock updated with the records sometime this week.
