2009 Mock? Sure, Why Not.
I'll be using the 2008 draft order so as to avoid any confusion and debate regarding that aspect of this experiment, but I seriously don't believe we'll experience that level of deja vu! First round, no trades allowed (other than the ones already made, of course), no underclassmen and the obvious caveat that it's way too early for this to be anything more than silly fun. Without further ado...

Colts
I don’t have their needs locked down really specifically, but I can tell you that after signing Dallas Clark to a long term extension and drafting Jacob Tamme and Tom Santi to go with Bryan Fletcher as the backups the Colts are set at TE for a while.

Oops.
You’re absolutely right and I will certainly correct that in the future! That’s the sort of silly mistake that’ll come up when you do something like this at this time.

Anything but QB, TE, RB or LB
and you won’t hear from me about the Colts pick. LB could be a need but a third round pick is the most they’ve spent on a LB since Dungy arrived.

I like Beckum for the Bills
He’s the pass catching type they need. I would like him more if he added about 20 pounds, but he could really help their pass game.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

Matches.
Since I didn’t mess with the order, I simply tried to match needs with good prospects at decent value. I doubt you’ll see back-to-back TE picks around the top 10, but I see both of those teams doing better this year and targeting those guys somewhere in the first round if they play up to their potential.
