Sean Lee
How do you think his recent injury will effect his draft status? WIll he be rehabbed by then?

RE: Lee
I don’t expect him to be in the ‘09 draft, but we will continue to rank and grade him as a player who could enter. A medical redshirt and playing again during the 2009 season is more likely.

Also,
as a Vol fan, I can tell you that Kenny O’Neal isn’t worth mentioning even if it is all the way down at 163. As a JuCo enrolee, he still couldn’t find his way on the field over an inexperienced groupd of receivers. He won’t see much playing time this season at all.

Thanks!
Those are the things that we look for. Hopefully O’Neal will prove us all wrong.

Good Stuff!
Just thought I’d point out that you might rile up some Texas Tech fans with Graham Harrell’s school (A&M . . . ?). I’d also note that Jake Ratliff is also about to lose his starting spot at defensive end, being replaced by a few JUCO kids (McKinner Dixon, Brandon Sesay and Broderick Marshall). He’s struggled to produce and make plays at the defensive end position.
By the way, I love the site.

Moeaki was tearing it up before he got hurt
last season. Iowa actually had a passing game before he went down and all the WRs got hurt or arrested.

Vols
Look for Arian Foster’s stock to continue to climb. He’s lost some weight and added some speed. He’s very underrated and most people don’t realize that he’s about to become the school’s all-time leading rusher at the same school that had Jamal Lewis, Travis Henry, James Stewart, and Charlie Garner. Foster will surprise some people this season.
Our guards, Anthony Parker and Ramon Foster, are really good at pass protection but need to imrpove on run blocking. I think with a new offensive system coming in this season you’ll see an improvement in run blocking.
Lucas Taylor had a really good year this year but he’s going to have to remain healthy and keep his grades up. We have tons of young talent at WR and Lucas will have to perform brilliantly to get the same amount of playing time he got last year.
Demonte Bolden has the talent to be a mid first round pick. His work ethic and inconsistency have him in the late 2nd to 3rd round range. If he gets all that in order he will have a monster season.
Kenny O’Neal as I’ve already mentioned probably won’t even see the field this year. We brought him in as a JuCo player and he never figured out how to run routes or catch the ball. He has serious speed but it doesn’t equate to the field very well.
Robert Ayers (DE) seems ready to have a breakout season. He has the size (6-3, 260) and the talent, just waiting for it to show up consistently on the field.
DeAngelo Willingham (CB) – Will probably get quite a bit of playing time in what could be the best secondary in the nation next year. He was one of the most improved players during the spring and could turn out to be a shutdown corner. He can also play safety. He has bulked up this offseason but still has really good speed.
Josh Briscoe (WR) – He has been quietly consistent lately. He’s not a burner but has great hands to go along with his great size (6’3”, 185).
Also look out for Nevin McKenzie, Adam Myers-White, and Ellix Wilson. All at LB.
For scouting purposes, here are some Juniors to keep an eye on:
Rico McCoy – LB Similar to Jerod Mayo. If he has a season like Mayo had last year he’ll probably declare.
Josh McNeil – C You have Alex Mack at 35. McNeil could be better.
Dan Williams – DT Could have a better season than Demonte Bolden.
