Draft Watch
- Freshman wide receiver Josh Jarboe has been booted off the Oklahoma Sooners. Jarboe became well known after being expelled from public school in Georgia when he was seen getting a pistol from his car. The talented football star received a reduced misdemeanor charge, was allowed to finish school online and then attend the University of Oklahoma. Jarboe has been released due to a profanity-laced rap song he recorded that has been surfacing online. Jarboe was considered a top wide receiver prospect, and will undoubtedly surface elsewhere.
- Staying in the Big 12, Texas is considering using a two-quarterback approach... kind of. The team wants to get sophomore John Chiles on the field alongside junior starter Colt McCoy. Many are comparing this to what the Florida Gators did in 2006, using Chris Leak and Tim Tebow. Chiles is an exciting runner, but showed in spot duty last season that he is not much of a passer. Some close to the program tell us that Chiles is most likely to be used as a slot receiver and runner.
- Notre Dame is again looking in to allegations involving alcohol and sophomore quarterback Jimmy Clausen. Thanks to The Big Lead, pictures have been posted showing Clausen and teammates participating in Beer Olympics. Big deal? We think not, but the NCAA may think so.

Bah
I don’t see why the Longhorns would do that unless they saw Chiles as a project who could be the answer next year and the one after.
