Dez Bryant to remain suspended; draft entry probable
It won't be until next September when top wide receiver prospect Dez Bryant will be allowed to play college football. Because of that it is highly likely that he'll enter the 2010 NFL Draft. Should he do so, he could be a top 10 pick.
The NCAA ruled today that Bryant, a junior, has to sit out an entire year for being dishonest about a meeting with Deion Sanders.
Oklahoma State is appealing the decision, but at his news conference today Cowboys head coach Mike Gundy seemed deigned to the fact that Bryant wouldn't rejoin the team.
"I think everybody has given up," Gundy said.
On the season, Bryant had 17 catches for 323 yards and four touchdowns in three games. Last season, he caught 87 passes for 1,480 yards and 19 touchdowns.

If he slid to Dallas in round 1
I’d love that pickup.

then maybe you guys can let the Dolphins sign Miles Austin in Free agency?

Hehe
You guys could have had him for a second rounder during the offseason.
There’s a reason he hadn’t done anything before this year, though… Austin’s very inconsistent and has major injury issues. I want to see him produce for the rest of the year at least before I’d consider offering him a 30 million dollar deal

If he's suspended from playing, can he still participate in the Combine
And he can’t play in any post season all-star games b/c he’s a junior right?
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

He’ll still be able to do the Combine since that’s an NFL thing.
I’m not sure about the all-star games. I want to say no, but I thought I remember one of them attempting to get juniors included. Those games have no real tie with the NCAA, other than the players using the equipment, as far as I know.

This guy reminds me of Michael Crabtree for some reason. Anyone else get that feeling?

I think he is better. Or are you talking about the holding out?

Just his personality, etc.
I agree he is probably a better receiver than Crabtree.
