What you may have missed
So, things have been pretty crazy here at Mocking the Draft. Since Friday, we've posted 26 items, which includes 22 scouting reports.
Unless you're a vigilant reader, you may have missed something. Here's what you may have missed:
- BigBlueShoe took a look at the New York Giants
- Hoosierteacher broke down the team needs and strategy of the Houston Texans.
- He did the same for the Atlanta Falcons.
- Shake n Bake did a really nice overview on the Cleveland Browns.
And if you're looking to see which scouting reports are complete, start here. That will take you to the positional rankings that jump to the reports.
Phew, that's a lot of stuff. But don't worry, we're just getting started. After the jump is what you can expect coming up here at MTD.
The goal originally was to complete the entire top 75 before the Combine began. Without question, that will happen. Currently, the following top 75 scouting reports will be up Monday and Tuesday:
- Clay Matthews, OLB, Southern California
- Aaron Maybin, DE, Penn State
- D.J. Moore, CB, Vanderbilt
- Evander Hood, DT, Missouri
- Gerald McGrath, MLB, Southern Miss
- Jared Cook, TE, South Carolina
- Paul Kruger, DE, Utah
- Rashad Jennings, RB, Liberty
- Eugene Monroe, OT, Virginia
In addition, expect a new, pre-Combine first round mock draft on Tuesday. Tuesday night, there will be a Combine preview. On Monday, we'll have the first installment of "Mocking the mail." Have a question about the site or the draft? E-mail me!
The divisional writers will also be churning out work and there will be much, much more.
Notes:
What, you still need more? Check out this stuff:
- You thought I've been busy? My good friend Luke Chandler at New Era Scouting has been tearing things up. Recently, he interviewed Pitt's LeSean McCoy and Kevin Grant of Akron. He also set up a list of player comparisons.
- Speaking interviews done by site friendos, the guys over at Draft Daddy have done several interviews, including ones with Eugene Monroe, Jeremiah Johnson, Troy Kropog and others.
