Tackle prospect Boone arrested

Offensive tackle prospect Alex Boone of Ohio State was arrested Sunday in California. Here are the particulars:

Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino says the 6-foot-8, 312-pound tackle was jumping on car hoods, yanking on a tow truck cable and trying to break a window when he was arrested late Sunday.

Amormino says the 21-year-old, who appeared intoxicated, was combative and uncooperative with sheriff's deputies and had to be taken down with a Taser. He was taken to a hospital and then to a jail medical ward, where he remains.

Boone has had well-documented alcohol troubles in the past, where it's been documented that he started drinking heavily at age 14.

It seemed like Boone had become more disciplined after being charged with drunken driving in 2006, but you can forget about that.

In regard to his draft status, Boone is really going to suffer. He was probably somwhere in the fourth round range and could now fall completely out of the draft.

And yes, that is Boone sleeping in a pile of beer cans. I could be wrong, becasue I don't have awful taste in beer, but it appears to be Nasty Light. Gross.
