Stafford possibly not No. 1 pick?

So writes Tom Kowalski, Lions beat writer for the Grand Rapids Press. He says Baylor offensive tackle or Wake Forest linebacker Aaron Curry "are more likely." Don Banks of Sports Illustrated has the same opinion.

That would likely push either Georgia's Matthew Stafford or Southern California's Mark Sanchez down the draft.

Curry told Kowalski he would love to go first in the draft. The linebacker will likely have dinner with the Lions tomorrow.

Sanchez had lunch with new Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan on Thursday.
