I don't know when you did this,
but there’s no way the Rams take Mack now that they’ve signed Jason Brown. Good stuff, though!
Jay Zygmunt, now that you have fired yourself, please have yourself hired by Seattle. Thanks.

but of course
thanks for mentioning that as I totally forgot about that. I will make that change whenever I get around to updating.

Love the Connor Barwin pick for Denver
He’s smart, versatile, and he has loads of upside. McXanders and co. have to be looking at him thinking about teh second coming of Mike Vrabel…

On the other hand
I think Evander Hood might be closer to reality since they need loads of help on the dline…

agreed. What do you think the chances are the trade back, maybe to 18 with Chicago who could snag Maclin, to take Peria Jerry? Or would they move around the 2nd round to go after Brace?

I'm hoping Jerry goes to a 4-3 team
like the Colts, where he can really star. But Denver would be HUGELY interested in the availability of a trade-back scenario. And if NE history follows McDaniels to Denver, I think they would be happy with an early 2nd round pick, and pick(s) next year for their #12. I am of the mind that Brace in the 2nd is too early, but I won’t fight about it, and would be happy for Denver to get him. DE, DT witht eh first two picks should go a long ways towards setting up some future defensive success.

And while I'm talking Broncos
the Jeremy Maclin at #12 is questionable. Even if Bmarsh gets suspended, I don’t think the team will consider parting with him until next year. I would say to target Malcolm Jenkins, see if he can beat out FA Renaldo Hill, or better yet, beat out Andre Goodman and play across from Champ Bailey, or in the slot.

Pettigrew that high?
I like him, and think he’s a good prospect, but not a top 12 pick.
And I’m looking for some input here, not criticizing. Explain the Stafford to Seattle pick.
I will say, though, the hardest thing about doing mocks is not including trades. I mostly understand why you’d have Sanchez going where he goes, but a team will trade up to grab him if he falls like that, I imagine.

Aaron Curry at number 1....
…is the biggest reach in the draft since Mario Williams. The Lions have no one at QB and Sanchez being from USC will have someone reaching for him before we’re even approaching the twenties.
Despite what you may think you know about football, Stafford’s probably the safer pick at number 1.

And how much of a reach did Mario Williams actually turn out to be? Seems like a reach worth making on that one.

I'll say
Houston definitley made the right choice on that one, and for as much grief as their fans took, its almost another Alamo for them… They’ll never forget!

Williams a Reach?
Have you been watching the NFL the last couple of years? Williams was the concensus #1 Defensive player on the board that year, so the only way he was a “reach” was because the Texans took him before Reggie Bush and Vince Young. Last time I checked VY is a backup QB and Williams has more sacks in the last two years (26) than Bush has games played (22). The Texans’ pass rush outside of Williams has been terribe, so he gets double-teamed on almost every year but he has still produced Pro Bowl quality play.
What were they thinking?
Let's get the Texans a better fight song.

I don't think Denver would take Maclin, they are going Defense first or drop back

Hate To Say It, But...
I hate the Maclin pick for Denver. If for some odd reason we go WR that early, I’d almost prefer they reach for Heyward-Bey. I’d gladly take Jenkins or Davis as DBs there, or someone like Tyson Jackson or Aaron Maybin. I don’t mind the second round pick, but I’m not high on barwin either.

I'd think that one of the Giants second round picks is used on a LB.

Why doesn’t anyone on here realize Sanchez’s stock is soaring? there’s no way he lasts until the 2nd round
