I still think Braylon Edwards ends up in New York, which is why I don’t have the Giants taking a WR high. The Browns apparently are not crazy about Crabtree, as they think he is another whiny, attention craving WR. The Browns are eyeing Robiskie in the 2nd not only because of his abilities, but his ties to the Browns organization.

TEXANS
Good round 1 pick…if Jenkins falls thats where he is going…but in RD 2 i dont c ayers falling but if he does the Organziation will have a tough decision btwn Sintim and Ayers…bigger need at LB and really like Sintim (even tho he might not be there either)…tough decision there…if we do go ayers, LB is a must in rd 3…(IMO)

Jerry is a great fit and fills a need
Pat White is not a fit and Trevor Cantwell doesn’t fill much of a need.
The Colts emphasize route running over everything from WRs, a QB conversion project isn’t going to have the precision routes anytime soon. The QB element also doesn’t really fit with them since Indy is one of the few teams not to run a wildcat set. They rarely run trick or gadget plays. Indy lines up in simple formations and runs relatively simple plays. The success comes from Peyton getting the right play called, and the tremendous offensive talent executing the play perfectly.
The Colts have 5 college centers currently on the roster, in addition to a guard and two T-G swingmen. If Indy is going OL it’s more the likely someone who can play OT.
I’d replace White with Robinson (possible RT), Kropog, Andre Brown or Rashad Jennings.
For the 3rd rounder Ingelsias, Collie or Tupou.

How do you know that Pat White doesn’t run good routes? I have actually seen him work out at WR in person, with my own eyes when I was at WVU for a coaches clinic. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with his route running ability as well as his hands. After seeing Pat White work out at WR for 30 minutes, I am convinced Indianapolis would be getting a steal here. Throw in the fact that Peyton Manning isn’t getting any younger, White also adds value as a potential long term QB replacement. Imagine White scrambling around and making plays in that Indy spread offense. Probably won’t happen but you never know.

he hasn't played there
Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez, they were all among the very best route runners (if not the best) coming out. Indy relies on players being exactly where they are suppose to be exactly when they are suppose to be there. That’s why the unforced illegal contact by the Pats in the Manning Colts’ early playoff trips threw them off so much.
I’m sure Pat White worked hard in the very limited time he spent learning route running, but it’s a skill that takes a lot of time to develop. As for a long term QB, Peyton is only 33 and has talked about playing 16 to 18 years. White’s rookie contract would be up before Peyton will be even considering retirement.

is there any rhyme or reason for the blank spots (or line breaks) placed throughout the draft??

For your third round pick for the Bucs, you have us taking Derrick Williams. I’d much prefer getting Louis Murphy as he’s a better scoring threat. And we don’t need Derrick Williams for KR/PR duties, already have a guy Clifton Smith handling the job and if he’s good enough for the Pro Bowl he’s good enough for the Bucs. :)
