Trade Value Chart Revamped
With the draft only hours away and trade rumors all over the place, I figured this would be a good time to share this with a wider NFL audience. This was originally posted by myself on BigCatCountry.com.
For a very large majority of fans, if not all fans, the only source for trade value is through internet charts that haven't been updated in 4 years. Since the publishing of these charts there have been many economic changes and the top picks in the draft are getting paid more and more. With these changes, the top picks are becoming devalued and the back half of the draft is more valuable. So I readjusted the values of the picks to more accurately depict the trades of today. Here it is:

Where did you find this
did you just make this up, or get it from a legitimate source?

I made it
I used trades from last year’s draft and changed the trade values to better depict the actually value. It’s not the actual chart used by NFL teams, but it’s definitely much closer than any chart you’ll find on the internet.

its about 80% of the current year's value
but you cant be sure what pick it will be for obvious reasons

I still can't get over how the Ravens practically managed to committ arbitrage by draft pick trading
They walked in with 6 picks (#26, #57, #88, #123, #162, #198) and walked out with 6 picks (#23, #57, #88, #137, #149, #185).
Literally moved their 4th round pick down 14 spots to move their 1st round pick up 3 spots and their 6th and 5th round picks up 13 spots.
That’s a net gain of 46.2 points according to this chart.
