Can anyone explain why you wouldn't take Curry for 20million less?
I got Summer hatin' on me cuz I'm hotter than the sun. Spring hatin' on me cuz I ain't never sprung
Winter hatin' on me cuz I'm colder than Y'all. And I will never, I will never, I will never Fall.

I'd like to
But I’d need to drink about a quart of scotch first. Check back in a couple hours.

Don't forget...
We’re talking about the Lions here. “Sound management” isn’t in their vocabulary.

wouldnt they have to
get Curry to switch positions? Become the middle linebacker or something (obviously i’m not a Lions fan), They needed to go this route though, much like the Falcons last off-season. It may or may not pan out for them, but with the 20th overall pick and the first pick in the second round they should be sitting fairly pretty this afternoon…
I just hope for the fans sake that they are ready to commit to Stafford and his offensive coordinator for the next three years, don’t allow this to turn into a Alex Smith situation, they have committed too much money now, time to commit the necessary time.
Back to Curry, it would be funny if they picked up the last of the LB’s with Laurenaitis (sic) just to stick it to Red Dave’s Falcons, ha!

Why, if you’re Curry, would you accept less money- as the number one overall, than Stafford? In this instance, it’s the position in the draft- and not the position that you play, that determines value, yes?
Also, now the next picks descend from this Stafford point, pricewise in order, so you’re telling me that,
had the Lions signed Curry, it would have saved everyone else in the top ten roughly $20 million?

don't ask me why (ego boost of being #1 overall?)
but he publicly said he’d take less than Long got less year.
