SB Nation Writers Mock Draft: Round 1, Pick #30

TENNESSEE |
With Tennessee, we finally end the restart day of the SB Nation writer's mock draft. Thank goodness. Back to normalcy.
The Titans are in a great position in this draft because they don’t have any glaring needs, except maybe receiver, but they don’t believe in those. They will be able to take the best available player on the board, and Tyson Jackson is easily the best player available on this board. If he is available at #30 in the real draft, the Titans will run their card up to commissioner Goodell.
The Titans love to pick versatile defensive lineman, and Jackson is just that. He is a guy that could slide inside to play defensive tackle in their system because of his size, or he could be a solid defensive end option in the rotation opposite Kyle Vanden Bosch.
The biggest question mark surrounding Jackson is his motor, but the Titans have the best defensive line coach in the league in Jim Washburn. Washburn won’t have any problem lighting a fire under Jackson and getting him to play to the best of his ability.
MTD thoughts: The only thing that concerns me about this pick is that Jackson isn't a playmaker at all. He's solid, dependable guy, but not someone who will be an annual Pro Bowler.
