Traveling the Nation

This is a look around the SB Nation football blogs for the best draft-related content.
Seattle's pick at spot four in the first round has been confounding for me. Could it be a quarterback? Is an offensive tackle and option? Or could the team still be looking at Michael Crabtree? That's what Field Gulls ponders.
Similarly, Buffalo Rumblings takes a look at five prospects the Bills could target with the 11th overall selection.
The virtues of Mike Mayock are extolled over at Battle Red Blog. Personally, I don't get NFL Network, thus I do not care about or for Mayock.
WCG over at Windy City Gridiron tries to pinpoint what the Bears will do without having a first-round pick. He does so by taking a look at the players brought in for workouts and visits.
Daily Norseman gives some thought to the value vs. need theory in the NFL Draft. Personally, I've always been of the belief that non-playoff teams should draft value and playoff teams should go with need.
Just because I liked it: Make sure to check out Maize N Brew for a lengthy discussion of print media and blogging. As someone who makes a living in the print media medium, I always find this sort of thing wildly interesting. Who knows, maybe when things slow down some here after the draft, I'll discuss more on this issue.
