Patriots already fleecing the 2010 NFL Draft
Following a barrage of trades during the 2009 NFL Draft, the Patriots have already set themselves up for more big things in 2010 draft.
New England currently holds its first-round pick and three selections in the second round. One is from Jacksonville and the other from Tennessee.
But the team is already trading picks from th 2010 draft. Last week, the team received tight end Alex Smith from Tampa Bay for merely a fifth-round pick.
Not bad considering Smith, a third-round pick in 2005, is a probable starter for the Patriots. For Tampa, he started 43 of 58 games, ha 129 receptions for 1,252 yards and 11 touchdowns.

I thought that the Pats did a great job with the Draft.
If some NFL teams were willing to give up next year’s #1 for a #2 from the last draft to my Steelers, I would take that Deal. I am not a Pats fan, but they draft well and their Organization is well respected around the NFL. They know what they are doing up there in Foxboro. They are tryig to win Now and in the Future
