2010 NFL Draft rankings: Offensive tackles

Photo

Doing the offensive tackle rankings, there was a stark contrast in the junior and senior classes. Many of the senior tackles like Russell Okung, Adam Ulatoski, Charles Brown and Selvish Capers are finesse linemen.

Some of the best juniors -- Bryan Bulaga, Anthony Davis and Gabe Carimi -- are all big, powerful tackles.

Then there's Trent Williams of Oklahoma, a sound technician who is switching from the right to the left side for his senior season at Oklahoma. At this point, it's a toss up between Williams and Bulaga for who is the best offensive tackle eligible for the 2010 NFL Draft.

So, check out the offensive tackle rankings. Use this post to tear them apart or offer your own. After all the positional rankings are revealed, a top 200 will be put out.

For Ulatoski you say he is from South Florida but you have a Texas logo. Which one is he from?

Baluga is such a good name for a lineman.

Forgot to change that after copying over the defensive end rankings. Everyone knows South Florida linemen suck.

It would be nice if the Browns could get Yound, Davis, or Carimi in the 2nd round.

If the Jags

Draft a tackle in the first three rounds in the ’10 draft, J-Ville could commit a mass suicide. Guards are what we need on the offensive line.

If hip hop is dead, then it happened the day that Dilla died.

Okung

Dan- what don’t you like about Okung? I noticed you mentioned his inconsistencies, which were notable last year, but can you offer any insights as far as technique or play that you don’t like?

Check back Wednesday. I’ll do a full post on him. Just for you, Matt!

Thanks

Thanks, Danny. Looking forward to it. As a Big 12 guy I really like Williams, but I’m anxious to see how he does playing on the left side after being a RT before.
