Top supplemental prospect Jeremy Jarmon gaining attention
Former Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon worked out for 18 NFL teams today at UK's Nutter Field House.
Among those in attendance was Vinny Cerrato, Washington's executive vice president of football operations. He seemed impressed with the 6-foot-3, 273-pound Jarmon.
"I think he worked out well," Cerrato said. "He ran well and was in good shape. He needs to get a little stronger, but he represented himself well. He's a great kid, solid in the locker room, he's smart. He's got all of the intangible things."
Another NFC East team, Philadelphia, has shown the most interest in Jarmon. During workouts, Jarmon's 40-yard dash times were between 4.79 and 4.83 seconds. During Kentucky pro day earlier this year, Jarmon ran a 4.76 40.
The supplemental draft will be held July 16. Other possible prospects who could be drafted are Florida State wide receiver Corey Surrencey and Central Michigan offensive tackle Joe McMahon.

What will this guy actually play in the NFL. 4-3 DE?
It seems like he could drop ten pounds and maybe play 3-4 OLB or add ten pounds and play 3-4 DE.

I’d say he’s a 4-3 end. He’ll need to get a lot stronger to play 3-4 end. He might not have the agility and quickness to play 3-4 OLB.

He would have to gain 25 pounds to be 3-4 end.

it depends on what his weight actually is right now
I’m seen him listed much closer to 280 and there are plenty of 285 pound 3-4 DE. I’m just wondering how he fits into a 4-3 defense considering that most scouting reports say that he’s not much of a pass rusher.

deadline to declare for the regular draft is mid Janurary
any eligible player that stayed changes his mind, fails out of school, or gets kicked off the team in the 6 months after the deadline they enter the supplemental draft.
Rules are harder. Wiki sez
Draft order is determined by a weighted system that is divided into three groupings. First come the teams that had six or fewer wins last season, followed by non-playoff teams that had more than six wins, followed by the 12 playoff teams. In the supplemental draft, a team is not required to use any picks. Instead, if a team wants a player in the supplemental draft, they submit a “bid” to the Commissioner with the round they would pick that player. If no other team places a bid on that player at an earlier spot, the team is awarded the player and has to give up an equivalent pick in the following year’s draft

who's got some info on McKinner Dixon?
He sounds like a guy with a ton of potential but a two cent head but he’s obviously got some talent. Will he get selected and can he play OLB in a 3-4?
