2010 NFL Draft rankings: Tight ends
At the moment, this is a pretty weak class for tight ends. But if nothing else, that just means it gives lesser-known players an opportunity to emerge in the rankings.
After all, going into last season, who expected Richard Quinn to be the second tight end drafted? So this season's tight ends are rife with intrigue. More than any other position so far, if you know about a player we should keep our eyes on, let us know in the comments.
We're plenty aware of Jermaine Gresham, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. They are clearly the three top upperclassmen tight ends in the nation, with Greshman and Gronkowski a notch above Hernandez.
Still, check out the rest of the tight end rankings and let me know what you think.

Is It Me?
Or are there a good deal of high upside TEs that could be available in this draft?
"A player who conjugates a verb in the first person singular cannot be part of the squad, he has to conjugate the verb in the first person plural. We. We want to conquer. We are going to conquer. Using the word 'I' when you're in a group makes things complicated." ~ Wanderley Luxemburgo, 1999

There’s some upside here. This is the most wide open position I’ve looked at so far, once you get past the top couple guys. I’m going to watch Ed Dickson very closely in Oregon games this season. He could be very good.

Homer.
As a Gators fan, I have to say that Aaron Hernandez has superstar written all over him. I understand the height comment, but considering that he’s likely one of the more talent receiving options on the Gators and that he has a great deal of chemistry with Tebow already, I expect this to be his breakout season. I wish I could find the article, but he was listed second after Percy Harvin by opposing coaches as the player that presented the most difficult match-up problems. The kid can really play, man, so keep an eye on him too! /homer-rant

If nothing else, that should just tell you how good Gronkowski is.

kyle rudolph will be a beast
" Of course Steroids should be allowed! I wanna see 700 foot home runs and 90 yard field goals! I litterally want to see someone's d**k get shoved in the dirt!"

But if he would have picked Michigan or Boston College, probably not so much, right?

Just keep an eye on him. If I’m wrong you can make fun of me, but trust me on this one.

I'll have to keep an eye on Nate Byham
Whiz loves a good blocking tight end and it’ll likely be a big need next year.
Be careful....to a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
