Around SBN: The Infuriating Jose Molina

Although he'll only be a true sophomore and not eligible until the 2011 NFL Draft, the interest in Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor is already high.

He has a great arm and looked pretty solid last season. Word has come out now that Pryor ran a 4.33 electronically timed 40-yard dash. While that may mean he's closer to between 4.45 and 4.55, it's still incredibly fast for a 6-foot-6 quarterback.

Meh.

I’ll be more excited when he starts completing more passes. Truth is the kid has looked better as a WR/RB than as a QB!

"A player who conjugates a verb in the first person singular cannot be part of the squad, he has to conjugate the verb in the first person plural. We. We want to conquer. We are going to conquer. Using the word 'I' when you're in a group makes things complicated." ~ Wanderley Luxemburgo, 1999

He was a true freshman, cut him some slack!

Also, he completed 60 percent of his passes. By comparison, here is how these guys did as college freshman:

- Matt Stafford – 52.7 percent
- Matt Ryan – 49.2 percent
- JaMarcus Russell – 50.7 percent
- Brady Quinn – 47.2 percent
- Jay Cutler – 48.6 percent
- Aaron Rodgers – 61.9 percent
- Eli Manning – 48.5 percent
- Ben Roethlisberger – 63.3 percent
- Phillip Rivers – 53.3 percent
- Carson Palmer – 55.3 percent

The point here is that you can knock the guy for plenty. I’m just not sure it can be for being able to complete passes. Sure he went 10 for 26 in the last two games (Michigan and Texas), but against USC and Penn State he was 23 for 34.
