ESPN to feature all-time bust Charles Rogers
If there were ever an all-bust team assembled, former Lions wide receiver Charles Rogers would be a unanimous first-team selection.
Rogers was a 6-foot-3, 220-pound force coming out of Michigan State going into the 2003 NFL Draft. Taken second overall (behind Carson Palmer), he's become a cautionary tale of how not to be a professional athlete.
Rogers' career was riddled by laziness, injuries and substance abuse. While Rogers hasn't officially signed his retirement papers, no teams in the NFL are willing to even give him a tryout. Heck, he's not even going to play in the UFL.
ESPN plans to capitalize on all this on their "investigative journalism" show E:60.
