Final list of underclassmen declared for NFL Draft

After the jump is the list of players who have made declarations for the NFL Draft. If there are any missing, leave a comment and link.

In total, 52 53 players left with at least a year of eligibility remaining. Clearly the biggest college football losers are Florida and Georgia Tech. Five Gators left for the NFL early and four Yellow Jackets did as well.

The biggest surprise returnee remains Washington quarterback Jake Locker.

The players who have declared have a 72-hour window to return to school, as long as they didn't sign with an agent.

Deadline was at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Nothing on Lewis. Could just be late news, if he gets in. He was on the fence, as far as I know.

Noticed Amari Spievey wasn't on the list

Not a huge deal, but that might factor in somewhere.

I’m so pissed Von miller decided to stay. Damn I wanted him so bad, and most drafts had him going second round

dag gummit

Shawnbrey McNeal was my sleeper RB for NEXT years draft, NOT this year. I really like him but I don’t know where he goes this year, 4th round tops I guess, and that’s with a great combine and workouts.

McShay, Todd McShay you hear me boy? It's me TJ and I'm coming for your damn job boy! Oh be scared, be very scared McShay.

?

Maybe someone can answer this. Darren Sproles was franchised 2009, and is currently playing on the one year franchise tender. In 2010 (without a new cba) he will become a RFA because he’ll only have five accrued seasons. Could the Chargers tender him at a first and a third, and make him play at that one year tender; which would amount to about 2.5 mil. Or would the Chargers have to franchise tender him again?

Assuming the Chargers DO NOT sign him longterm what are the options?

by AirNorval on Jan 15, 2010 11:03 PM EST reply actions

I think the RFA tags have a tender amount or 10% raise from last year (whichever's higher) clause

so it’d be cheaper than franchising him again, but would have lower comp if someone wanted to grab him.
