End of Season rankings
These are my positional rankings, if you would like to know anything, feel free to ask. These will change once pro days, combine, and workout (rumors) start up, but as on right now these are my rankings. This is not a prediction of what order they will be picked, they are just MY rankings. If my 3-4 rankings are off it's because simply I don't know it very well. Enjoy.
I will repeat since some on this site can't read, this is NOT NOT NOT a prediction of what order they will be picked.

Good job
I agree with about 90-95% of it. Would change a few things here and there, but overall we actually agree alot more than what would appear on the surface from previous discussions we’ve had.
I think my biggest problem is the QB ratings 3 through 6. Especially Tebow, but I can see why you would slot him there. If it was me, I would probably have him 7th or 8th in being realistic and not hype driven on the slotting.
I think my favorite rankings on your board here has got to be Bowman and the fact that you acknowledge how good Daryl Washington is going to be.
Also, the Dan Williams ranking. Cody get’s a lot of hype but alot of people don’t realize how winded he gets and how quickly he does. He’ll be good but only for limited time through the course of any given game.
The only other small quarrell I have is your CB rankings in having Lindley as high as you have him. He struggled this year. I was high on him at the beginning of the year but he sort of let me down. I would switch Robinson and possibly even bump Wilson up.
Anyway, good job… can see you put alot of thought in to it.
Rec’d
Tim Tebow = 1,432,219 season tickets next year. Who wouldn't pick him in the 1st round with those projections?
Also
just one last thing… Stephen Williams from Toledo is going to be a freak. He’s built like Randy Moss and I think just as fast but actually has some guts. He will be a steal for someone.
I would say that him and Demaryious Thomas are my two favorite WR’s coming out this year.

Very nice list
I’ll probably use it on my personal mock drafts, lol

That’s cool if you do, I kind of take it as an honor, however just know they are my rankings. It is not prediction of what order they will go in, it is in order of how I like them.

For starters, I like the 2011 draft class more than this one. Alot of 1st round talent went back to school so next year could be STACKED.
I do believe at this point in time that this draft lacks the "superstars"but many of these players will be solid contributors for a long time.
It all depends on what you expect from this draft class. If you are expecting many stars, I think you may end up dissapointed. If many many players become solid contributors and you view that as a good group, then there are many in this draft.
1. Cornerbacks
Overall it’s not a real good group, Haden is heads above anyone else but many of these guys will become very solid contributors either as nickel backs, safeties, return man, or special teams. If you are expecting these guys to be stars you will be disapointed, if you go in expecting contributions you will be very pleased.
2. Safeties
To me this safety class is top heavy. The top 7-10 will be very good starters, while the rest will be serviceable reserves/spot starters but will provide alot of depth. I really like this group and that is with two of my favorites returning to school in Deunta Williams and DeAndre McDaniel.
3. Defensive Tackles
I really like this class even with Marvin Austin, Jerrell Powe, Allen Bailey, Jarvis Jenkins deciding to stay in school. Suh is in probably the best DT prospect since Warren Sapp and McCoy isn’t far behind. I see tons of value in this class, as of now I have Lamar Houston as a 3rd round prospect yet I really believe that he can be a 10 year starter.
4. Rush Linebackers
If your team runs the 3-4 D this could be a great time to grab an OLB. Kindle and Hughes will battle it out for first one taken, while guys like Gibson, Worilds, Sapp, Sheffield, Selvie, Schoefield all make me drool and wish the Bears ran a 3-4. Of course this is always hit and miss because most of these players played DE in college so the question mark will be in coverage, but the potential in this group is amazing.
5. Guards
Yes I like this group. I think Iupati, Asamoah, Johnson, and Petrus can start day 1 of course depending on who they get drafted by. There are about 5-10 more that I can see as serviceable guys on the line.
1. Running Backs
I really don’t like this group as a whole. I’ve had a four year man crush on Spiller and that isn’t changing anytime soon. Best has some durability issues with a bad back. I question how Dwyer will do as option RB’s don’t fare real well in the NFL (could be wrong but Nebraska keeps popping in my mind). McKnight could be Bush 2.0 which depending on tastes is either good or bad. The rest to me aren’t anything to be thrilled about. You got your power backs like Dixon, Gerhart, and Scott that could be successful in their roles but as a whole I’m just not in love with this group.
2. Outside Linebackers 4-3
I don’t like the depth at this position. I like Bowman and Weatherspoon but after that you get into the Dekoda Watson’s, AJ Edds, Roddrick Muckelroys where I think they just end up special teams players/backups. So depth in this class is an issue.
3. Quarterbacks
I’m not in love with this group either. There are an awful lot of developmental guys in this class which may take three to four years to see how they do. This also has to do with the transition period from playing a spread offense in college to the pro style in the NFL. Alot of schools are running the spread now days, how will they translate?

Yea
Thats pretty much what I expected. I also am intrigued by this DT class, seems to be not lacking in both potential starts and depth. Some quick and light guys that translate to edge rushers are going to get taken early, and we might see 5 guards taken on the first day.
Secondary seems thin to me as well. I have a real hard time evaluating the safety position so Im always skeptical about them being taken real early in the draft.
Good job
Shouldn’t the QB from Iowa be on that list somewhere or is he undeclared? I thought he was a senior.
Hes a junior. Going back to school

Vike is correct he did not declare for this draft, as of now I have him as my #11 QB for the 2011 NFL Draft.

Stanzi is going to lead CFB in TDs next year
unfortunately 1/3rd of them will be to the wrong team
Luck is probability taken personally, clutch is probability attributed to individuals.

LOL
I might have to agree with you, however Clausen cut down on his INT’s this year so there is always hope for Stanzi.

Clausen went from Soph to Junior. Not sure if it is as easy to improve a lot between you 4th and 5th year.

and in no way in hell is Pike as good a NFL prospect as the other 2.
just a couple 5th year seniors who were better in the senior year.
Stanzi has a lot of talent and could do the same as these guys.

It is not a prediction of what order they go in, It is how I like them.
I was never really high on Mike Williams to begin with and then when he quits on his team in the middle of the season, that leaves an bad taste in my mouth. There are some that say Dez Bryant can drop due to “character concerns” yet what does it say about Williams character when he quits on his team.
He still could go in the 4th round, I’m just not a fan.
McShay, Todd McShay you hear me boy? It's me TJ and I'm coming for your damn job boy! Oh be scared, be very scared McShay.

He didnt really quite on his team
I was never really to high on him but I have him as 16th or something like that. He wasnt going to qualify and he is not a very smart guy at all. Thats why he left, Thats atleast what I heard. Still, He isnt a top 10 WR talent and he isnt a top 150 intelligence wise (lol)
Play until you are ineligible then. Like I said I was never high on him and then for this to happen just really dropped him for me. It wouldn’t surprise me if he goes in the 4th but it wouldn’t surprise me if he goes undrafted. IF the Bears draft him, I’ll be pissed, that is how much I don’t like him.

I dont blame you
I dont think his talent will translate to the NFL. To cocky, to un-inteligent. He really is stupid. Ive also heard on rivals he cheated on his ACT and still failed but that was all rumor so IDK.
That’s cool if you do, I kind of take it as an honor, however just know they are my rankings. It is not prediction of what order they will go in, it is in order of how I like them.

Good job, HOWEVER:
Only 2 things for real. I could nit pick but I wont. Terrence Cody should be above Williams as a 3-4 NT. Also, Patrick Robinson should probably be above Lindley. Thats it for real. Good Job though. I wont go into the WR rankings because I disagree alot but its with the bottom guys. I just cant believe you have Blair White that low. (I said I wouldnt go into it).
I could care less about the 3-4 rankings, I’m no expert on the scheme’s and really wasn’t going to do them. At the last minute decided to throw some together that is why they are on the bottom.
I honestly didn’t realize I had Lindley over Robinson, I will edit that.
Like I said though this is as of now, with the combine, pro days, and workouts these will definitely change.
I have a quick question for you on the contest you are holding, are predictions going to be weighed more the earlier you make them?
For instance say today I say Donovan Warren will be the first corner taken. Pretty ballsy but then say during Haden’s pro day he tears is ACL so then next month people say Warren will be first corner taken or someone else. Shouldn’t the one who posts it earlier get more credit or something?
If not I just rather wait til two weeks before the draft to start predicting stuff.
Know what I mean?

Yeah
Honestly, That would be the smartest Idea. Im probably gonna close it 2 weeks before the draft. Thats usaully when people know where certain people are going. I would advice people to wait. For instance, Last year, If I kept it open til the day before the draft, someone probably could have predicted the T jackson pick. Now, two weeks before the draft would be the smartest place to make your prediction. (Like you said Combine, Pro Day, so on). Also, No weight will be hold against the time of the prediction so I would advise waiting. Also, I will have another contest that I might need some advice on. Ive already talked to Mocking Dan about it. Im going to do a Mcok Draft Pick Em, Kinda like a Bowl Mania but with mock draft picks. Where you can only do the player and you pick 10 teams in the first round that you think will draft a certain player. You then arrange them 1-10 in order of confidence. Its going to be cool.
Isnt he projected a FS in the NFL
I thought Berry was too though?

I went by what some sites had the safeties listed at. I thought Berry would be a better free but he is listed as strong. I saw Thomas listed as free so I put him there. Chad Jones I thought would be a better strong (could be wrong) but was listed as a free.

How come China can't vote David Lee for All-Star?

When i think of him, I think of his past issues
"HULU: An evil plot to destroy the world. Enjoy"
Driver of the "Cut Reggie Nelson" Bandwagon.
I think he is ok
But Juice Williams, Rusty Smith, and Kafka should be ahead of him IMO. He played against Sub Par talent and really didnt do that good. They ran alot, He only completed 58% of his passes. The stat that does jump out is the fact that he only has 2 or 3 ints this year.
Great job TJ. The only major differences that I would have are:
Hoomanawanui – I think he’s a good enough blocker to go in the top 12-14 TEs and I’d rather have him than most of the 7-8 guys you’ve got listed in front of him.
Javarris James – I’d rather have any of the 5 or 6 guys listed right behind him.
CJ Wilson – I think he stinks. The couple games that I really sat down and watched him play, I came away very, very unimpressed. I think he’s a late rounder, regardless of scheme. He’s right there with Sam Young as my least favorite prospects in this draft.
On Mike Williams, I can’t blame you for putting him there. I’d guess that more than a handful of teams will leave him off their draft boards entirely. I’m a huge Syracuse fan and I always thought he was an overrated prospect too.
I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute
Hoomanawanui- I really like him, it really depends on what you want from your TE, if you want a blocking TE then HooMan is the guy, the guys above him are mostly pass catching TEs and some could even be HBacks like Cody Slate, Richard Dickson, etc. Good to see someone appreciate my Illini players.
James- depends on how he checks out medically. If everything is fine I think he will impress in workouts and such but if he doesn’t he is in for a long drop.
Wilson- I’m on and off with. Some games I fall in love with the guy, some games like you said leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I was thinking about adding what rounds I have them going in, to ease up on the rankings that way it’s not so much why is player x over player x when if the rounds are there it might make a little easier to see that I have them pretty equal. Know what I mean? What do you think?
Thanks for the comment.

I could see James moving up a lot of lists with some good workouts. That makes sense.
I forgot to ask, where would rank Beadles as a guard? I doubt he plays outside in the NFL, so where would you slot him in your list of guards?

Anywhere from 5 to 8. I was debating if I should put some players (Beadles, Ciron Black) at guard as well since I think that is where they will excel.
