Dove's Senior Bowl Practice Day 2 thoughts
North Practice
- Mardy Gilyard looked a little better today. One thing that impressed me was his ability to release off the line. This was a big question mark going into the Senior Bowl, due to his lack of size.
- Brandon Graham will see his stock rise a lot because of his performance here. He completely dominated 1 on 1 drills
- Ducasse is really struggling at these practices. At one point they moved him over to guard and still wasn't able to hold his own.
South Practice
- Patrick Robinson looked good today. He showed good press coverage and a quick breaks on the balls.
- Nate Allen a safety from South Florida was impressive in one on one drills. This is especially intersting because safeties tend to struggle in those drills. One safety that did struggle in those drills was Taylor Mays. He looked stiff and wasn't able to jam the wide recievers at the line.
- I am not going to discuss Tebow much but he did have a better day. Looking especially good throwing the deep ball.

Why isn't there a maybe?
I’m sure he is (can be?) better than Caleb Hanie.
McShay, Todd McShay you hear me boy? It's me TJ and I'm coming for your damn job boy! Oh be scared, be very scared McShay.
Timothy Tebow
His deep passes are absolutely fantastic. It’s Peyton Manning-esque. I saw those throws and I have just about turned around on him. His footwork is getting astoundingly better. He is looking a lot more comfortable under center. He is tightening up that windup, and generally looking like an NFL QB. But what impresses me most is that he has come that far in 2 days. 2 days. In an entire spring and summer of NFL OTA’s and Training Camp, he will become a legit NFL QB. I promise you this, if he goes to a team with a solid coaching staff, he will be a Pro Bowler within his first 3 years in the league. The upside is amazing; I see a little Steve Young in him. Actually, I see Steve Young in a Middle Linebacker’s body in Time Tebow. He is accepting coaching, and learning his playbook spontaneously. He is helping his WRs with what routes they are supposed to run.
2 days. Wow.
Tim Tebow: I’m on the bandwagon.

I'm an Eagles fan
who happens to like the Raiders. So, kindly, go shove your 2 inch twig up your own arse.
I’m a pretty hard critic of all players. But, I will openly acknowledge improvement.

you're joking right?
Tebow will be busy baptizing the turf before he throws the ball. You can bake a turkey during his throwing motion, and it would be bone dry by the time he releases the ball.
You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going, because you might not get there

I have heard he has shown some improvement
However I highly doubt he will be a good NFL QB.

I love how people read a couple magazines and a few threads about Tim Tebow and they think they know all about him. The guy is going to get drafted, most likely 2-3 round.

ok, we get it world. His mechanics are bad. Comments like these and all the other “Tebow sucks” comments are getting really stupid.
