Evening NFL Draft links to click
It's a slow evening, so here's some links from around the SB Nation and across the Web. Find some of your own? Make a Fanshot and share the love!
Detroit Free Press: Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is touting Idaho's Mike Iupati as "obviously" the best player at the Senior Bowl. You know what? He's right.
Niners Nation: Drew K over at Niners Nation is putting together write-ups on 100 prospects in 100 days. Cool idea. Today, it's LSU wide receiver Brandon LeFall. Very thorough stuff.
Field Gulls: The SB Nation Seahawks blog has been regularly featuring draft content. Today, it's a look at some offensive line prospects. This is noteworthy because of the opinion given on another LSU player, Ciron Black.
SeahawksDraft.blogspot: I'm no Seahawks fan but regularly follow this blog. Always insightful content. Check out this post on why some players can't be faulted for dropping out of the Senior Bowl.
Arrowhead Pride: The Chiefs have been one of the more non-secretive teams at the Senior Bowl. As such, the relentless Joel Thorman of AP has posts coming out the wazzoo. Here's one about a comparison for Terrence Cody. I don't agree with it at all.
Big Cat Country: The most in-depth discussion of a punter you may ever see.
SB Nation: The Pro Bowl is a mess. We fix it. Kind of.
Cat Scratch Reader: The Cardinals and Vikings may have developed quarterback issues the past couple days, but the Panthers have had one for a couple years. CSR tries to get it figured out.
Dallas Morning News: Finding hidden gems at the Senior Bowl.
Palm Beach Post: Talking prospects with Mike Mayock.
Sporting News: Terrence Cody continues to practice self love.
St. Pete Times: The Buccaneers working on strategy with tough third pick.

what don't you agree with?

Pioli basically said that Cody is not as explosive as Wilfork…

Just think comparing anyone to Wilfork is kind of sacrilege.
Mocking the Draft: Your NFL Draft source.
He wasn't really comparing the two perse
More talking about each of them….he’s a big fan of Wilfork it sounds like and says Cody has quite a ways to go.

Hmmm. I suppose you’re right. Still, I’d be more apt to compare Cody to Ted Washington. Both giants who play two downs but have some quickness. And eating issues.
Mocking the Draft: Your NFL Draft source.
Your right in that Cody is more in the model of Ted Washington
Lots of Potential to go along with the lots of weight. Like Washington, Cody will spend a lot of time trying to keep his weight under control, or face endurance issues.
370 lbs is just too much, and because of it I think that will push is stock down in many teams boards.
Opinions are like A--holes, everyones got one.

seems like if anything he was calling out Cody
by saying: you’re not as good as Wilfork was. maybe a motivational ploy, or a fleece for his actual interest in Cody, or nothing at all.

Does anyone remember that Simpsons episode where Homer gets a physical and Dr Hebert taps him in the stomach to see how long it would take for his fat to stop jiggling?
Can anyone imagine Mt Cody in that spot?
