2010 Senior Bowl open thread

This is your Senior Bowl open thread. It starts at 4 p.m. Eastern on NFL Network.

I may not be here for the whole thing, but keep this sucker going, whomever is here. And no live-blogging for me this time either. Everything will be in the comments.

If the Senior Bowl bores you, make sure to check out to check out the site-wide, 32-team mock draft here. This was run by JP 23 and TheAngelColts. As someone who has participated in these, they are very hard to not only finish, but smoothly continue. Those two did a great job, so kudos to them. If you're interested in participating in the next one, find out about it here.

If you're as mock-obsessed as I am, make sure to check out the latest seven-rounder by tj.hendricks here. Anyone who is brave enough to do a seven-round mock is awesome in my book.

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.

Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. - Peter Gibbons

I watched him getting in his stance and I had visions of Gilbert Brown.

McShay, Todd McShay you hear me boy? It's me TJ and I'm coming for your damn job boy! Oh be scared, be very scared McShay.

I don't think Gilbert had the rack that mount Cody does....

Brian Billick looks like a genius with that comment in the Sugar Bowl about Tebow’s motion and slow release leaving him really open to strips.

I’ve seen 2 drives from the South. Tebow was stripped on both.

Broncos need a starting LG.

"All by their heads, he places crowns."

Matt Prater, pre-2009 season: Despised, lambasted, Josh McDaniels is derided for not replacing him.
Matt Prater, post-2009 season: Loved, praised, everone forgets the time when they called Josh McDaniels an idiot for not replacing him.

he also has Dwyer tied for the 5th best RB. Bradford #1 QB, doesn’t have Bruce Campbell in the top 5 for tackles, Jason Pierre Paul is his #1 DE, and Larry Asante as #4 safety.

I like the guy but he makes me scratch my head.

Mayock's out there, but I like him a lot

He might be my favorite of the draft pundits.
Remember a few years ago, when he was criticizing Darren McFadden and everyone ridiculed him for it? Now McFadden looks like… what, the 83rd best running back to be drafted that year?

Good game

Some who stood out for me were :

Blount
Graham
Robinson
Gilyard
Williams
Ford
Arenas
LeFevour
McCluster

He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is
