to be honest

I don’t know the prospects well enough to do so

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

Stength of schedule

Weaker schedule wins

Cause if they lose more to a weak schedule, that means that team is really really bad.

by JASiege on Jan 4, 2010 3:38 PM EST up reply actions

So the Broncos should get 10

since Chicago had the weakest schedule (32) and Jacksonville had the 12th hardest?

Tebow could probably go both ways for us at QB and MLB.

Funny.

After all the ranting in the offseason, a traded pick involving did end up in the top ten, but Seattle won’t be the one using it…

"A player who conjugates a verb in the first person singular cannot be part of the squad, he has to conjugate the verb in the first person plural. We. We want to conquer. We are going to conquer. Using the word 'I' when you're in a group makes things complicated." ~ Wanderley Luxemburgo, 1999

when you lose a top 20 pick...

its still pretty bad.

I dunno why any team would trade a future first rounder. You don’t know what’s gonna happen that year (see: Cutler, Jay).

I always cringe when I see teams trading away future first round picks

especially when it’s for a 2nd rounder. How do you know how deep next year’s draft will be? You don’t really know until 3 years AFTER the draft. Makes no sense to me.

by Naptime! on Jan 5, 2010 4:52 PM EST up reply actions

That trade was still excellent for Seattle.

In essence, the Broncos drafted a mediocre cornerback in Alphonso Smith with the 14th overall pick.

Holmgren would have drafted Crabtree.
