More big names making draft decision

Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida: After spending just one year playing Division I college football, JPP is going pro. Many are very high on him due to his size and athleticism. But that was never really that evident when he played. He'll get overdrafted.

Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa: The junior year for Bulaga has been up and down after he missed the first three games of the season. He decided to enter the draft. He should be the third or fourth offensive tackle taken and likely go in the first 20 picks. The catch? He could have been a top 10 pick in 2011.

Evan Royster, RB, Penn State: Following a disappointing year, Royster will return to Happy Valley. It's a smart move, but Royster  will probably never be better than a second round prospect.

Aaron Hernandez, TE, Florida: As expected he's going pro.

DeAndre McDaniels, S, Clemson: After a stellar junior year, McDaniels decided to return for another year. He has great potential and could be the best senior safety in the nation.

Chimdi Chekwa, CB, Ohio State: He's returning for his senior year. Presumably the NFL Draft Advisory Committee didn't say he'd be picked in the first three rounds.

I don’t know what to think about Pierre Paul. I think he could’ve used another year.

Bulaga's probably got an outside shot at a top 10 pick..

I still think there’s a trend that teams will reach for OT’s, or maybe he shoots up the board after a good offseason?

Agree on JPP…he’ll have an offseason that gets him compared to Jevon Kearse…but he’ll probably end up more like Jarvis Moss…

Yep

I think he’s the 2nd OT taken.

You never know

Bulaga might have come back for his senior year, sustained a major knee injury, missed much of the season and the combine, and seen a serious slide in his draft position. I sympathize with his predicament, the decision’s not a ‘slam dunk’.
