Current 2011 NFL Draft top 10 order
Mock draft makers, here is the current 2011 NFL Draft top 10 order. It kind of puts the first six weeks of the NFL season in perspective. Opponent win percentage is in parenthesis.
1. Carolina Panthers: 0-5 (.567)
2. Buffalo Bills: 0-5 (.580)
3. San Francisco 49ers: 1-5 (.506)
4. Detroit Lions: 1-5 (.539)
5. Cleveland Browns: 1-5 (.551)
6. Dallas Cowboys: 1-4 (.574)
7. San Diego Chargers: 2-4 (.489)
8. New England Patriots (via Oakland): 2-4 (.505)
9. Denver Broncos: 2-4 (.521)
10. Cincinnati Bengals: 2-3 (.500)

Not sure who made up the opposing win percentages
Denver has played 3-3 Jacksonville, 3-2 Seattle, 4-2 Indianapolis, 4-2 Tennessee, 4-2 Baltimore, and 5-1 New York.
That’s 23-12, or 66%. Easily the hardest schedule of any team in the NFL. Not that it changes the order, but the opposing win percentage is quite misleading…lol

Actually it would change the order
Denver would then be at 9, based on the rest of the formula.

I think 2-4 was my realistic start to this season, with 3-3 being the best possible scenario IMO
but This is where Denver really needs to step up and take 2 easy ones and go 4-4 into the bye. If they veen lose one of these next 2 games our shot at playoffs really takes a tumble
Well looks like some teams that are normally god except this year are going to have a shot at some great picks. Hopefully Oaklend can at least work there way to pick 15.

Assuming Carolina stays at the top, would they take A.J. Green or let Clausen fight it out with Luck/Locker/Mallett?
I think Buffalo ends up having the first pick. I can’t see Carolina losing EVERY game.

If Carolina can get that running attack going
they could win some games
Buffalo….. I really don’t see any thing that for them.
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.

I think if Green is there you almost have to take him.
Clausen has suffered by having no viable weapons to throw to, along with no time in the pocket. Given that our OL is far more talented than what they have shown, Green is the logical choice.

Carolina should not take a QB
Clausen is a viable QB that needs to be given time. You would be wasting last year’s 2nd rounder. If he has no talent, he should not have been drafted. Too many teams rushing QB development and wanting immediate results.
But if Carolina gets a new HC,
he just might dump some of our personnel for ones he deems fit for his system (Josh Freeman/Raheem Morris is a good recent example)
And with the most NFL ready QB in a while coming in this year, he just might chuck Clausen out.

That's one of the factors that will determine who your new HC will be
If one will work with what you have, and an other won’t the former choice will get the job over the latter.

The Bills will be drafting No1 overall
As a Bills fan, there is no-one I can see the team beating. Losing to the Jags at the Ralph despite Fitzpatrick throwing 3 TDs shows how appalling our defense is. We can’t even settle on a defensive alignment. Edwards so far out of his depth he might as well be in the middle of the Pacific.
Even the weaker teams we face, have very good running games and teams have been able to run at will against us.
I see the Panthers getting a win at home to the 49ers, but even the weakest teams we have left to face in the Browns and Lions have decent running games.
And if the Panthers do have the No1 pick I cannot see them not going for Green as they need to give Clausen help but also plan for when Smith goes.
