Texas' Aaron Williams considering NFL Draft
In this week's podcast, Tony Pauline of TFY Draft says that Texas cornerback Aaron Williams would reportedly go pro if he's given a first-round grade.
That is highly likely for Williams, the most talented member of Texas' vaunted cornerback trio along with Chykie Brown and Curtis Brown.
While Williams is a level below LSU's Patrick Peterson and Nebraska's Prince Amukamara, he's widely considered the next best draft-eligible cornerback in the nation. We rated him as the 19th best prospect in the nation at the beginning of the month. With the struggles of Florida's Janoris Jenkins and Williams stout play, he'll be higher when we redo the rankings (ugh).
On the season, Williams has 30 tackles, seven pass breakups, seven passes defended, five tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles and a sack.
Pauline has information on other underclassmen considering the NFL, so make sure to check out his weekly podcast.
