Jake Locker's stock down according to Kiper and McShay
The NFL Draft's very own Glimmer Twins are back, this time talking about Washington quarterback Jake Locker. Both have a sinking opinion of Locker. Observe:
An aside: Don't you wish you were as enthusiastic about anything in life as Mel Kiper is about the draft? Goodness gracious. If I got that excited about anything, I'd probably have a stroke.

If I were that excited about life
Everyone in the vicinity would periodically collapse from sheer exhaustion. I’d also get labeled a speed addict.

The Kyle Boller comparisons are valid.
I thought of him while watching Jake Locker on a number of occasions. The skill set is tremendous, there aren’t many QB’s with the combination of size, speed and arm strength that these two possess. But where the comparison ends is noone has ever been in recent memory, as inaccurate as Kyle Boller was coming out of Cal. As a freshman he completed 38.6% of his passes. As a sophomore 46.7, as a junior 49.1 and as a senior with QB guru Jeff Tedford 53.4%. His inaccuracy alone for me gave him a 3rd or 4th round grade and for the life of me never understood why Baltimore (Brian Billick) would take a chance on him in the first round. I’ll go out on a limb and say that Jake Locker is a tad more accurate and at worst a late 1st, early 2nd round pick.

I found it interesting
that both had Gabbert ranked in the top 5
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
