SB Nation - Tyron Smith looking to buck bust trend
Brian Galliford breaks down Smith's decision to turn pro and what he might have to do to make it in the NFL.
Sports Illustrated - Redrafting the 2010 NFL Draft
Ugh. Don Banks is at it this week making different picks for the first round of the draft. Odd: Browns take Colt McCoy seventh overall. Odder: Russell Okung not being picked at all. I hate these things relentlessly.
Nebraska junior cornerback Alfonzo Dennard may be the most likely Cornhuskers underclassman to go pro, and not Jared Crick or Lavonte David.
Orlando Sun Sentinel - Brandon Harris considering NFL
Headline says it all here.
Oklahoman - Ryan Broyles, Travis Lewis still mulling future
Two of the more talented juniors this year are Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles and linebacker Travis Lewis. Broyles is saying what he'll do, but the quotes in the story make it sound like he's going pro. Sooners defensive coordinator Brent Venables says Lewis should return to "improve himself in a variety of areas."
SB Nation Denver - Nick Fairley for the Broncos
The Denver hub opines about Fairley possibly being the pick for the Denver Broncos.

Redrafts are so stupid when they are from recent drafts
I don’t understand someone wasting their time with these stupid redrafts. I can understand if the draft was 8 years ago, because that might be interesting to see. But, when the draft was last year and all we have to go on is less than a full season, it is moronic. It’s more like the rookie of the year standings than a redraft. Sometimes it takes a while for the real talented to shine.

uhmm
Just because I think Luck is better than Clausen doesn’t mean I think Clausen should have been drafted any later or earlier based on his half season of play. I just think Luck is a superior talent.
Agree a lot
The whole idea of a redraft in midseason is foolish. Some of the repicks were real headscratchers. I guess Banks has some kind of quota on how much column space he must fill each week.
What’s next, trades that some teams should be making? Ohh…..wait…..
Chris Snee's advice to Smith
Best way to ensure a good draft spot is to knock up a coach’s daughter.
Fonzo, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE!

EXTEND JASON RICHARDSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smith's decision
doesn’t seem like a good one to me. He’s too small and unproven to be taken as high as his talent warrants; while the class is weak, I don’t see any team reaching for him in the top 10. I wonder if he was advised to declare now because of fear that draftees will make substantially less during the tenure of the next CBA.

What do you think of Lavonte David?
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
