Nick Foles wisely says he's not entering 2011 NFL Draft
On Thursday, Arizona junior quarterback Nick Foles told the Tuscon Citizen that he intends to return for his senior season.
This is a wise move by Foles.
Foles told reporter Anthony Gimino that he enjoys being in college and has his dad handle any professional issues.
At 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, Foles certainly has prototype NFL size. But for a player of his size, you'd expect Foles to have a better deep pass. Instead when asked to throw longer than 15 yards, Foles' passes tend to flutter.
Foles could receive a huge boost if star junior wide receiver Juron Criner decides to return for his senior season as well. Foles and Criner could arguably be the best quarterback-to-wide receiver combination in the country in 2012.
It seems likely that fellow junior quarterbacks Cam Newton and Ryan Mallett will enter this year's draft. Here's what an early look at the 2012 class could look like:
Matt Barkley | 6'4, 235 pounds | QB | Southern California **
Aaron Murray | 6'1, 209 pounds | QB | Georgia ***
Nick Foles | 6'5, 240 pounds | QB | Arizona *
Landry Jones | 6'4, 220 pounds | QB | Oklahoma **
Blaine Gabbert | 6'5, 240 pounds | QB | Missouri *
Of course, a ton can and will change in a year from now. Foles could easily find himself at the top of that list or at the bottom if he has a bad season.

Joe "We Don't Have a Plan" Ellis, Denver Broncos COO, 2008-2010: 19-26 record; 3 head coaches; no true GM; cancels Champ Bailey's contract extension when negotiations are 80% complete; admits that Josh McDaniels will end up being a successful head coach in the NFL, admits that he is in the top of the league in game-planning, and admits that the organisation needed to do more to help him, but fires him anyway. It all starts up top.

That's shaping up
to be a very solid QB class. Gonna be fun scouting next year. And good call by Foles.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.
I just hope he gets a new OC
Watching him throw 4-yd outs all game long had me flipping through the ESPNs looking for something more exciting to watch, like bowling.
I’m pretty sure Blaine Gabbert played a few snaps his freshman season.
