The great Aaron Aloysius of Draft Breakdown is back with his latest video. This one is on Southern California offensive tackle Tyron Smith, a recent draft entrant. He was okay – seemed to fall down quite a bit, including that cut block he whiffed on. Most of the time he was quick enough to get in the guy’s way and he locked on fairly well, but it looked like he got pushed backwards pretty far on every pass play.

Damn.

in these highlights he definitely handled Jordan. Smith seems to have great strength for his size.

Still a little small, but I can see a team that doesn’t need a starting LT right away grabbing him in the late first or 2nd.

Of course he’s still got the offseason to bulk up, but he’s got the talent of a franchise LT.

One thing that needs to be reminded is that Cameron Jordan is one of the most disruptive players in College and a top 20 pick in this coming Draft and that he was a bad matchup for Smith.

Seeing him being dominated would have been a red flag, seeing victories and defeats in his snaps was the kind of thing that I was expecting.

Arnold, almost 5 years of good memories, you'll be missed.
