Mhm.

I’d take this all day.

2nd that...

Would you rather see Kindle over Hughes? I would like to debate this.

agreed

It’s not bad. I would like to go somewhere else but OLB with 2A. Something like o-line or safety.

As a Cowboys fan

I hate it. That is about as bad a fit as you could make. Mays is not going to be a Cowboy. He is just a faster Roy Williams. Galloway is not worth a 2nd round pick. Angerer is not a 3-4 lb. He is to small.

by Flounder69 on Feb 20, 2010 10:51 PM EST up reply actions

Suppose so.

Good with Price.

Not sure what to think of Reshad Jones just yet, but you got the position right. Nate Allen is better as of now.

Of course, you gave him to the Eagles, so uh…yea.

3rd round I guess Tennant is probably the best OL there. Hopefully the Giants are moving Dave Diehl to LG, so that gives them depth with Seubert.

OT would be the pick before interior.

by FreeBradshaw on Feb 20, 2010 1:42 PM EST reply actions

i'm very high on Jones

amazing instincts, great physicality, and some of the best hands on any DB. I have him over Allen because of his physical presence, and hence gave him to you.

by birds'n'raiders on Feb 20, 2010 1:54 PM EST up reply actions

lions

will go Mike Johnson over Vladimir Ducasse.. not bad other then that..

by det32 on Feb 20, 2010 1:48 PM EST reply actions

or Pouncey over DuCasse
I’d take it

by JazzyBBP on Feb 20, 2010 2:39 PM EST up reply actions

Ducasse

Offers more than Pouncey w/ his ability to play tackle. Also, Johnson is hardly a 2nd rounder in my eyes. No positional flexibility, not a dominating blocker, and short arms.

by birds'n'raiders on Feb 20, 2010 6:56 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Colts

love Charles Brown and and 2nd/3rd rounders are totally possible, though there’s a player or two for both that I’d prefer a bit more.

by shake n bake on Feb 20, 2010 1:56 PM EST reply actions

Wow, Kindle down to the second round?

I’m pretty surprised by this.

Also, I have a high amount of doubt the Pats will get a WR in the first round. I feel it should be spent on either one OLB, DE, or O-Lineman.

The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL

The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back

The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Allergic to second periods

by R_Adragna on Feb 20, 2010 2:20 PM EST reply actions

The Seahawks draft at #40 in the second round, not #38

I like Houston at #40 and Morgan at #14, but I’m not real high on Okung with the #6 (or the #14).

by ninjasocks on Feb 20, 2010 2:53 PM EST reply actions

I'm not either.

If the top 5 shake out like that in the real draft I might cry; I really want one of those guys. If that happens….Haden maybe?

by thebyron on Feb 22, 2010 11:13 AM EST up reply actions

That's what I'm thinking.

Either that or try like crazy to trade down.

Dream Draft: Clausen, Brown (#24), Houston, McKnight, Mike Williams, Black, McManis, DTN.

by LantermanC on Feb 22, 2010 1:43 PM EST up reply actions

I don't think that the #6 will be very tradable

Especially if those are the first 5 off the board. I imagine that we could trade the #14, though, depending on who’s left on the board.

by ninjasocks on Feb 22, 2010 3:20 PM EST up reply actions

I think Haden would be my choice

unless we went for Morgan at #6 and an OT with the #14.

by ninjasocks on Feb 22, 2010 3:19 PM EST up reply actions

ravens

love it but doubt it.

Doubt Thomas will fall to us in first or Tate will fall that far in second…but I would take’m both

Redskins

I still like JC but I understand your reasoning about QBs. One of the reasons that I don’t think they go QB with the 1st pick is because without a 3rd there are not a lot of quality players left on the board when we get to pick again.Like Pouncey a lot in the 2nd I think he probably moves to Guard but the versatility would be great. We pick after the Chiefs in the 2nd & 4th tho. What happened to Jonathan Dwyer ?? Can we get him in the 4th?? lol Very good mock IMO

by ENsDad27 on Feb 20, 2010 3:31 PM EST reply actions

Love it

for the Rams. Bradford, Gresham and Bowman. All three are first round athletes.

by Toddius on Feb 20, 2010 4:11 PM EST reply actions

The Chiefs mock is awesome

But I doubt they would take Hughes or Thomas in the 2nd. Hughes would play Predator OLB, the same position as Hali. Thomas could be had later, in the third. But im down with it.

by darwithabar on Feb 20, 2010 4:28 PM EST reply actions

NTs are a premium

In this draft, so you guys can’t pass him up at that position

by birds'n'raiders on Feb 20, 2010 6:58 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Like I said, im down with that

I dont see the Hughes pick but its not a bad pick. Alot of value right there. Alot of people question his tackling ability at the Sam OLB spot.

by darwithabar on Feb 23, 2010 2:22 AM EST up reply actions

For the Browns I don’t like Wooton and why would we take Black AND Beadles

by TheRealSlimShady on Feb 20, 2010 4:54 PM EST reply actions

Black and Beadles

RT and RG.

As for Wooton, he is a very good 3-4 DE prospect, and you can never have enough linemen. His value is too good at that point for you not to take him.

by birds'n'raiders on Feb 20, 2010 8:32 PM EST up reply actions

We need some targets for Quinn. Our WRs suck.

by TheRealSlimShady on Feb 22, 2010 6:05 PM EST up reply actions

Wow Bryant and Hernandez?

I dont think Parcells would wait until the 3rd to get a LB with knee issues.

Bucs mock

Is awesome. If it happens i’d be very pleased as 4 needs were addressed

by Buc-Drunk on Feb 20, 2010 5:19 PM EST reply actions

I would go freaking crazy if the Cowboys did that on draft day.

I would want something more like:
1st round = Maurkice Pouncey G/C
2nd round = Morgan Burnett S
3rd round = Roger Saffold T

That is a draft I would be super pumped about.

If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

by Cowboyfan729 on Feb 20, 2010 6:34 PM EST reply actions

Yes to 1 and 2 No to Saffold

That guy was abused all weak by E-W shrine bowl talent.

by Flounder69 on Feb 23, 2010 12:44 PM EST up reply actions

Patriots

Have to many needs to waste a pick on Tebow imo. I’d be pissed as hell if they drafted him.

by Csigs on Feb 20, 2010 7:15 PM EST reply actions

Interesting...

That is a really different mock for Denver and, I have to admit, I kinda like it!

its interesting and i too

kinda like it
but if LaFell and Cam Thomas fell to the Broncos in the 2nd and Matt Tennant in the 3rd you could see the Broncos pulling the trigger there as well

by SteveUK on Feb 23, 2010 11:57 AM EST up reply actions

Chiefs Draft

Fantastic results…having Berry and Hughes drop, clogging the middle with Thomas and grabbing Shipley….all 4 would be immediate upgrades and contributors from Day 1. Walton at C in the 4th/5th…perfection.

by MIChief on Feb 20, 2010 8:22 PM EST reply actions

The Packers

Do not need any more guards, a true left tackle or pass rushing OLB should be taken in the first round.

by tkiller314 on Feb 20, 2010 10:23 PM EST reply actions

Surprised

I find that I disagree with your assessments a lot on this site, but I like this draft. Strong picks throughout. Morgan to Seattle and Williams to Houston would make those franchises very happy.

Bryant to Miami might make sense, if Parcells was not running the show. If he does not have a true #1 WR, he does not care.

New Orleans is happy with their RB-by-committee approach. With Bell, Bush, and Thomas, I’m not sure they would want another one.

by ct17 on Feb 21, 2010 1:06 AM EST reply actions

my thinking

is that Bush is gone. There is no way he is going to make 8 million that he is due, also, Pierre Thomas is getting a lot of hype in the Restricted Free Agency market. So, I foresee atleast 1 of the 3 RBs in New Orleans gone.

by birds'n'raiders on Feb 21, 2010 11:11 AM EST up reply actions

I'm not infavor of this draft

the only player I like is Selvie. O-line in the first is a wasted pick especially Williams. Dan Williams and Earl Thomas are better picks. In the second if we took D Williams we would take Allen or Burnett. If we took E Thomas we’d take C Thomas

I getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.

by Steel in FL on Feb 22, 2010 8:29 PM EST reply actions

*sigh

Why does everyone feel the need to give us a TE? At least this time they gave us a blocker. And in the second, I like LaFell, but I like Tate more. If our draft went Tate/Atkins for our first two picks, I wouldn’t complain.

The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
