New York Jets team needs

The New York Jets are looking to improve after a good season and a great playoff run. Coach Rex Ryan is looking to make the Jets perennial playoff and Super Bowl contenders. To keep the buzz alive several positions need to be addressed.

1. Wide Receiver

- Braylon Edwards has big play ability but his concentration is still lacking and will always have a lot of drops. Edwards’s inconstancy will not help the development of Mark Sanchez. Jerricho Cotchery is nice player but will not give any defensive coordinators sleepless nights.

2. Nose Tackle

- The Jets defense really changed when nose tackle Kris Jenkins went out with injury. Unfortunately for the Jets Jenkins has always struggled with injuries and the nose tackle position is too important to not have depth.

3. Outside Linebacker

- Simply put the Jets need to find someone to be what Vernon Gholsten is not. The Jets could use some assistance at the defensive end position but they need another pass rushing presence at the outside linebacker position.

We don't need a NT

Jenkins, although he is injury prone, will be back.

And Pouha is one of the most underrated NT’s you haven’t heard of and was excellent in the 2H of the season this year in his place.

We’re fine there.

agree, CB

Pouha played well. The real need is CB. Sheppard’s trade/contract assures he will be cut, and none of the backups are ready to start.

Without picks in the 3rd and 4th, the Jets picks will be skewed more towards need than BPA. Gholston may be a bust, but Pace and Thomas are good starters.

Edwards is garbage.

Scientific research has proven that you lose exactly 5.37 billion brain cells every time you listen to Todd McShay.
