Colt McCoy won't throw at combine
Add Texas' Colt McCoy to the list of quarterbacks who will not throw in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine.
In a tweet by ESPN's Chris Mortensen, he said McCoy was advised against throwing by Dr. James Andrews.
McCoy suffered a pinched nerve in the national championship game against Alabama last month.
He joins a growing list of signal callers who won't throw. That includes Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, Dan LeFevour and Tim Tebow.
In his career, McCoy threw for 13.253 yards and 112 touchdowns while completing 70.3 percent of his passes. He also ran for 20 touchdowns.

those whom are opting not to participate in one fashion or another.
this is interesting because
he won’t throw in the NFL, either
