Ok guys thank you for all wanting to participate and for doing such a great job so far. I want to be sure we have everyones emails (if you sent a BPA list we do) and that everyone understands what we are going to be doing and how it will work.
We will start the last 2 rounds of this mock this Sat. at 5ET. I expect us to go for about two hours and then we will make our last few post draft posts before the combine. MAKE SURE TO TURN IN YOU BPA LISTS EVEN IF YOU WILL BE HERE.

Here are the guidlines for this mock
DRAFT METHOD:
1. I will announce which team is on the clock with the following comment: THE ST. LOUIS RAMS ARE NOW ON THE CLOCK!! ...After this message, you will have 5 minutes to make your selection.
2. Your selection MUST appear exactly as this in the subject line: WITH THE 33RD PICK IN THE DRAFT, THE ST. LOUIS RAMS SELECT (PLAYER NAME) , (POSITION) ,SCHOOL. Please use all caps so your pick will stand out.
3. After your selection, the next person will be on the clock once I make the announcement.
4. For the first 4 rounds we want you to provide your reasoning for your pick and this will be emailed to JP23 (JPYanes@yahoo(dot)com) PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SUBJECT LINE FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN PICKS.
5. Not using the subject line will help in following the conversation on each pick alot easier. And most importantly, when we put together the front page article, it will be easiest to sort through.
6. The draft thread will still be updated after each selection or as fast as possible by JP23. NO matter if you will be here or not you need to send in your BPA LIST and the person you send it to will be announced shortly.
7. Since we are doing this on the weekend that means you will have about 5 days to get in your BPA LIST. Also in that List you need enough picks that you think it will cover you for the two rounds (the number may depend on your number of picks) as we will be doing two rounds per weekend. (MAKE SURE LISTS ARE IN BY FRIDAY or at least an hour prior to draft time).
7. if you do not give us a list we will ask one of the other reps to take your pick or make it ourselves (remember your still sending the explanation of your pick to JP).

I just dont understand my fellow chiefs fans sentiment towards McClain. Watch hi highlights/lowlights on youtube. They dont sugar coat.
I think Daryl Washington would have been better but probably a reach that high (don't think he should have taken ILB at all)

I disagree.
1. the KC chiefs were the worst team in letting an opposing team run wild (compared to a teams season average).
2. they do not have any playmakers at all on the inside at all. they just don’t make plays against the run.
3. I would not have taken washington. washington would never fit into a 3-4. for a 3-4 to be an ILB you have to be big, usually bigger than a MLB in a 4-3. washington is waay too small to be an ILB. he is fairly undersized for Linebackers in general.
you just don’t pick someone b/c they have talent. if they have no chance at fitting your scheme, you should not take a player.

I did not realize that quincyy was the end all be all of Cowboys football on this site. Yes I made my list and then sent it to you and quincyy. I did not go behind his back and send it out. I also asked him for his list so we could talk about and basically got told to go F myself he had his list and that was it. So as not to cause any problems with your little group I will just read the results and make my comments as to how I feel the draft ends up. It is obvious quincyy is not open to suggestions so why waste my time. I mean wow he has over 5000 posts on blogging the boys. How could I hope to have anything to add?

First we won't draft another RB first round after we did last year obviously.
second Brown is a very good back with great potential but had some injury issues this year. Needs to get a lot better at picking up blitzes though.
Our backs are good the issue is run blocking and an inconsistency in that area. They did do pretty good though running it in the SB though

They’ll have to take a chance on one or two WRs in the 2nd round to get anyone decent, unless they can find a team willing to trade a good WR for a 2nd rd pick, which would be stupid for the trading team, really. 2 OLB/DE types and 2 WRs would help the Pats the most in the tight spot they are in, with Welker sidelined for most or all of next season, and question marks for the rest of the WR corps as well.
