R_Adragna's Two Round Mock Draft
I'm pretty much popping my cherry when it comes to these things, so any criticism of my mock (constructive or otherwise) is very welcome. I will take some suggestions into consideration, although making changes to this is very hard to do, IMO.

Yeah, I've seen McClain at 5 and thats a big reach
Iupati at 5 would be downright shocking. If they fell in love with him, they’d probably trade down
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Damn I do not see how Dan Williams falls that far ( I think it is impossible)
I would love that pick though. Also if you are interested in being part of a 7 rounder tomorrow we need a pats fan.

For the second round I think Asamoah is a little bit of a reach and also would rather if we were to reach be reaching for a T not a G

I’d love getting him in the 2nd so much. I don’t even care that I have no clue where he’d play in the D.

yeah, some Colts fans wouldn't touch Dan Williams, I'm not one
though I’d probably have a hard time taking him over Price who fills more of a need. Indy has two guys they are comfortable starting at the 1 tech. They only have a prospect and a situational guy to play the 3 tech.

I think it's good
don’t buy Okung to the Lions, and so the shifts that it causes up front, but it’s generally good.

no I think the Lions are likely to roll with Backus again
they took Pettigrew over Oher, which is way less justifiable than Suh over Okung.

1 pm tomorrow, right?
I may be interested. I got an orientation to attend tomorrow between 10 and 11 am, and I don’t know when I’m getting out of that.
What would I have to do?
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back
The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Allergic to second periods
yes it is at 1pm ET. go take a look but basically incase you couldn't be there id need a BPA list tonight for the first two rounds.

Question about BPA list
Do you want BPA in each position that the Patriots need or do you want what I feel are my top 5 for that? How would you do that?

Give me for the first round your top 10 in the order you would take them
And also a list the same way for second but probably like 15 because you have 3 picks

Given the article I saw on Williams here
I figure any higher and he’d be a bust, big-time. This seems like an ideal position for him to be picked, maybe even a steal.

Not touching
I’m one of those fans Shake mentioned. I think William’s bust factor is way too high for Polian, not to mention that it’d be a DT in the first. With Pouncey off the board, I’d rather take McCourtey or reach for Saffold in the event no one wants to trade for #31.
I’m ok with taking Asmoah in the second. A bit of a reach, but he’s a top 5 guard.

Williams is a steal at that point.

Can Earl Thomas play CB?
Because the Giants already have Rolle and Phillips at S. Sometimes you see CBs in college convert to safety, but you dont see safeties in college convert to CBs in the NFL.
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
I think so. His size and 40 time would lead one to believe that he could.

Did he play any CB at Texas?
When I watched him, it seemed like he was sitting back in centerfield, more as a free safety.
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
he might not be a man CB right away, but it's generally accepted he could play as a zone CB right off the bat
that’s almost just sitting in centerfield in a different position.

I think he's one of those players
That played one position in college but looks to do well in another. Kinda like how Corey Wootton, for example, was a 4-3 end but does has the frame to play the 3-4.

Phillips is not being counted on to start coming from IR.
He and Earl Thomas, if picked would divide up the snaps…I doubt KP’s playing 100% of the snaps.

As an eagles fan
I do think Toby would be a perfect compliment to Shady, but there is no way that we take him before the third round, we have too many needs on defense that need to be addressed before we move onto a backfield committee.
Who would you recommend in that pick?
Your line would be taken care of in Odrick. CB looks to be a need. Who would you prefer?

Morgan is going to Denver
but is he big enough to be a 3-4 DE?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
he might be athletic enough to be a 3-4 OLB
He’d probably be really nice as a DE/OLB in a hybrid D.

6'4 272 seems like an adequate size for a DE in the 3-4
I would assume he’d do fine.

For whatever reason
he seems to have dropped off the radar. I still think he’s the best DE in the draft, definitely the lowest Bust Factor. Maybe no 16 sack years, but quite a few 8-12 sack years, as well as at least adequate defense against the run
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
What? That is NOT adequate size. They should be AT LEAST 285.

That is adequate size shady. Sure a little bigger would maybe be nice but 272 is adequate.

Question:
What changed/happened during the last couple weeks to make the consensus go from Suh to Bradford at number one?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Adam Shefter reported that the Rams are all about Bradford at #1
and Shefter has a very good record on this stuff.

If you ask me, I hated this from the start.
I hated the idea of Bradford going #1 because his senior year was limited. Then I looked at the Rams’ situation. Let’s face this: Bulger sucks! And it’s pretty inevitable that a change is a dire need at QB in St. Louis.

The funny thing is Bradford kind of reminds me of Bulger
Both are smart and accurate but are mentally and physically fragile.

I don't agree bradford has a good arm and although he hurt his shoulder I still think he will be alright. When is his pro day?

No one argues with the need for a change
But we can’t afford to make that change by first drafting a guy who got injured as soon as his O-line got depleated. We need tough QBs, at least until we can protect them.
Can’t see Campbell fall that far.

I can. His game tape is absolutely horrible.
If he falls past 9 he will fall very hard.
I'm good with Earl Thomas
Giants still could use a starting safety, they probably are looking at 2010 as still without Kenny Phillips, even if he comes back OK…I doubt he gets the bulk of the snaps or even starts, so a safety is a good bet.
Especially Earl Thomas, cuz he’s versatile to be a nickel corner if needed (and Aaron Ross’ hamstring says it will).
Hate the Selvish Capers pick. Giants don’t need a future LT, they got Will Beatty (word to all the teams that passed on dude last year…preciate it) Capers is not a RT candidate..he’s more of a finesse blocker.
If you’re just going for a different look, go Cam Thomas. Giants could use a large FAT DT.
The 2007-2008 Fred Robbins has been long gone….could use a porker (not Dan Williams…no reason for first round)
Master of the squeegee
I could take this into consideration. No Selvish Capers for future reference for you.

UGH!
I hate the Eagles picks.
We don’t need a DT in Odrick with Bunkley and Patterson and I don’t like Gerhart we already have somebody thaat can pound the ball we need somebody that is similar to Shady in case he gets hurt.
Odrick can play the DE as well, and you guys are in need of a DE.
Toby does look to be a good complement for Shady, so I thought that would be a win there.

Nt is a bigger need than CB
D Williams won’t fall past us. No we don’t need a new tackle that early Nate Alen is the pick
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
There's no room for a 1st round DE on the Texans roster
Dan Williams would be the best pick there.
Dwyer sucks. Plus, a CB is going to be taken in the 1st 2 rounds…like Brandon Ghee in round 2.
