Around SBN: Jeremy Lin's Game-Winner Was Incredible, Worth Remembering

redemption day for Joe Haden??

Here is part of an interview Haden did with Sporting News:

Sporting News: How eager are you to run at your pro day?
Joe Haden: I can't wait. My back is finally 100 percent, so I can't wait to go out there and perform. I'm just anxious and ready to do it.

SN: Since the Combine, what have you been working on?
JH: All I've been working on is my 40 starts. That's basically it. I've probably run about a thousand 40s.

SN: You ran a 4.57 40 at the Combine. How disappointed were you?
JH: I haven't run that (slow) since my freshman year in high school, so I was really disappointed. Down in Florida, all I ran were 4.34s or 4.33s. So I'm looking forward to running in the 4.33 range like I always have.

I personally feel Haden is not just the best CB to come out in 2010, but the best to come out since Revis in 2007.

Vontae and Rodgers-Cromartie

But I voted for DRC

"I'm not a scratch golfer. I don't know how to bowl. I can't read the stock market. Hell, I have a hard time rememberingmy wife's cell phone number. But I can call 'Flip right double X jet 36 counter naked waggle at 7 X quarter' in my sleep" - Gruden

The only time I watched DRC this year was against the Colts

And Pierre Garcon made him look foolish. He outran him, he juked him, he flat out stiff armed the kid and threw him down. It was almost hard to watch.

Well he had a decent season overall in 2009

50 tackles, 25 PDef, 6 INT’s (1 for a TD), and 3 forced fumbles.
I mean thats good production for a CB. Even the best CB’s in the league get abused at least a couple times during the season, including Revis and Asomugha.
You can’t base anything off of one game. DRC is talented.

Yes, how dare I forget to mention TT??

Shame on me. Thomas is definitely in the convo.

BASTARD!

I’d probably take Mike Jenkins over TT..but I can’t say that about a Cowpoke.

TT is solid, and shame on dude for not putting him up there with these guys. TT is definitely better then many of those up there.

now, thats more like it !!

According to TFY Draft Preview, Haden ran a 4.45 on his two 40-yard sprints today at the Gators’ Pro Day workout.

The Florida Times-Union is reporting that Haden ran between the high 4.3s and the low 4.4s today.

Note that it was on a wet field, too.

I wouldn’t doubt that he would have been faster if it had been dry.

Haden says he was told he ran 4.41 and 4.39

The poll is stupid if you include players from this year

They have no NFL time – of course DRC is the best. Ask again in 10 months and we’ll be able to answer.

Now, if you want to know which one looked like he’d be the best coming into the draft, I have to say Haden.

DRC is a little overrated

He’ll be an absolute lockdown corner for a little bit, then he’ll get burned bad.

I voted for Haden. I love how calm he is when the ball is in the air, kind of like Revis (not saying he’ll be as good as Revis, just that his demeanor reminds me of him). Haden’s going to be a Pro Bowl CB for a long time.

Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!

Ah

Well it lasted for about 3 weeks. He would’ve been an absolute steal between 10-20
