Dez Bryant causing a stir
Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant has been one of the biggest lightning rod players this offseason.
After being suspended a majority of the 2009 season, Bryant had a questionable personal workout where he forgot his cleats and reportedly refused to run slant routes.
Now one team, according to sources, has dropped Bryant completely off their draft board. Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union is reporting that the Jacksonville Jaguars won't consider Bryant with the 10th pick because of character issues.
That follows news that the Cleveland Browns canceled a private visit with Bryant. As a Browns source told Peter King of Sports Illustrated, "He's no longer on our list." Now whether that meant list of players coming in for workouts or the team's draft board is up for debate.
Still, as King points out, Bryant has a number of teams working him out, with visits scheduled with San Francisco, St. Louis and Denver.
Denver has been the popular choice for draft speculators as the team is expected to trade wide receiver Brandon Marshall sometime in the next week.
But if one thing is certain with Bryant, it's the uncertain.

What a head case.
he forgot his cleats and reportedly refused to run slant routes.
As funny as that is, he could’ve cost himself $10-20 million dollars in guaranteed money.
That’s not what happened. He brought 3 pairs of cleats and had to switch them multiple times to try and get his footing right. Everyone thought Andre Smith messed up so huge last year and he went 6th overall. Dez Bryant will still go top 15, bet on it.
I won't bet on it. It's a possibility for sure, but for Andre Smith, all it takes is one team to overvalue a guy
(or undervalue a lack of a work ethic).
Marshall to Seattle babyy!!!
God i hope that happens. We’ve had a terrible offseason in roster moves but that would make it all better.

I'd rather trade the 60th overall pick for Brandon Marshall than spend the 14th on Dez Bryant ;)

Too bad that would never happen.

OK...I'll bite
Why do you feel so confident that Marshall will both:
a) Maintain his form as a dominant receiver; and
b) Not be more trouble than he’s worth for whatever team acquires him?
As a Cowboy fan, WR was the single biggest hole in our offense last year, but I wouldn’t want us to go after Marshall (and don’t see a lot of clamor from other cowboy fans either) since we’ve seen:
1st – Roy Williams come over to be the savior #2 receiver…only to post back-to-back busted seasons; and
2nd – T.O., who always worked hard and put up great #’s, get released because he was disruptive/distracting…and our offense actually improved after he left (no thanks to Roy Williams).
Why are you so confident that Marshall won’t have the same less than stellar impact wherever he goes?

Well the 7 posts before your reply were all talking about Marshall...
Unlike Marshall I would love for us to get Dez, but haven’t seen him dropping to 27 since I quit smoking crack.
