Thursday night at Radio City Music Hall saw plenty of surprises – unlikely picks, unusual trades and enough storylines to last a whole weekend.
But that was just the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Now we're making it to the meat of this year's draft. Regarded as loaded with depth, we're going to see some excellent players taken in the second round.
When they do get taken, use this as your first open thread for discussion. Marvel when the Rams gets multiple draft choices for pick No. 33. Laugh along as that one player who should have, like, totally gone in round one continues to slide.
Who will be that player? Will it be Jimmy Clausen or Colt McCoy? Or will it be a pass rusher like Sergio Kindle or Everson Griffen? Maybe one of the athletic tackles, Charles Brown and Bruce Campbell, will slip further.
We don't know. And that's the beauty of the draft. It's full of surprise and hope as your favorite NFL team shapes its future for millions to see and criticize.

I’ll be in and out early here. I have to get a whole meal of food in me before anything else. A dinner of nachos and Gatorade won’t cut it.

I dont get it. Last year he was a sure fire top 10. This year, Carroll asked him to do different things and play closer to the line. With his ability, the rest can be coached.

Tate’s great but short, Williams is polished and pro-ready but not aggressive, Benn is big and fast but VERY raw.
