PrintThe final day of the NFL Draft is what real draftniks are made of. If you really like sites like this one, this is the day for you.
This is where your favorite sleepers will get picked. This is where your favorite team can solidify it's draft. This is where you really understand the meaning of hatred as Jets fans do anything to get on television.
More than 60 percent of the draft takes place today. There are still a lot of quality players available. They may or may not go today.
Other than really good players still being available, there are a few storylines I'll be watching today. Who will be the fifth quarterback taken? Will Pete Carroll continue to transform the Seahawks roster?
I'll be here all day. You should be too. Use this thread to discuss the remainder of the NFL Draft.
Oh, and if you want draft grades, you won't get them here. Try here, I guess.

Sporting News rated him as their 11th best guard. Here are his strengths:
Is thickly built with the playing strength to be a force at the point of attack. Sets up quickly in pass protection and can keep DTs tied up and on the line of scrimmage. Can knock DT off feet and toss them to the ground. Is surprisingly quick getting through the line of scrimmage to the second level; can chip DL and deliver violent blow to LB. Can come off track to twist and adjust to block LB effectively. Is effective pulling and blocking the contain defender out of the play on off-tackle runs. Is an effective angle blocker who can lock on DL and ride him down the line of scrimmage and out of the play.

McClendon didn’t get a combine invite, but had impressive numbers at his pro day with a sub 5 40 (at 6’3" 324lbs) and benched 225lbs 37 times. A lot of size and athleticism, but McClendon’s play didn’t have him highly regarded by most.

All I've been hearing for the past couple of months
Is that Carroll spends all the cash on candy and porn and then loses the credit cards on the bus ride home. Some people are even trying to claim that Carroll has had nothing to do with this draft because it is so good.

I look at the Jets and Patriots drafts, and with the exception of maybe Brandon Spikes, both teams have had excellent drafts, filling needs and adding tons of talent to some already loaded teams. I look at the Fins, and I can’t say the same thing. We came in with some major needs at NT, OLB, FS, TE, and KR. With the exception of strongside linebacker, we’re going to leave this draft with some major holes. I’m ver upset.
