Around SBN: Why We're Skeptical Of LeBron James

Quincyyyyy's highly anticipated Cowboy's MOCK of freakish small schoolers you never heard of

1. DE/DT Sean Lissemore William & Mary

http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/0chP2BJeVsaaj/340x.jpg

Former linebacker who bulked up to become a dominant DT, who in his senior season recorded 66 tackles, 14 of which came for a loss, 6.5 sacks and 2 interceptions.  It didn't stop there for him, at his pro day he ran a 4.83 (faster than any DT at the combine) and put up an impressive 36 reps on the bench.  Don't be surprised if this kid goes much earlier than anyone ever expected.

2. WR Pat Simonds Colgate

Big (6'5 225 lb) WR, who ran in the 4.5's at his pro day and put up 24 reps on the bench.  In the past two seasons he dominated the competition with his size, athleticism, and strength putting up 23 tds and 2,148 receiving yards.  Many drafniks are labeling him as the Marques Colston of this draft.

3. DE/OLB/ILB Danny Batten South Dakota State

He is very strong for his size (6'2 245) putting up 30 reps at his pro day and running the 40 in 4.7 seconds.  He played strong side DE at South Dakota State going up against tackles much bigger than him and still dominating in the run game and making plays in the passing game.  Plus he has experience at linebacker.  He probably projects as a strong side ILB in a 3-4, though he could be a 3rd down pass rusher as well.  Basically, Danny Batten boils down to a blue collar, take your lunch pail to work, football player who will do whatever you ask of him.

4. H-back/FB/WR Jameson Konz Kent State

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3181/2841853632_957270aff9.jpg

Konz is a freakish athlete with a 46'' vertical and 4.41 forty, while standing at 6'3.5 and 235 lbs.  He has all the talent in the world, but played under bad circumstances.  Switched from linebacker to H-back after his junior season, and had to deal with multiple starting QB's his senior year.   He would be a nice developmental prospect who could slide into Deon Anderson's roster spot.

6. OT/OG Andrew Tyshovnytsky Fordham

http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/ford/sports/m-footbl/auto_action/3957470.jpeg

Strong and athletic lineman putting up 33 reps on the bench, running a 4.9 forty, and has good size at 6'4 317 lbs.  He protected John Skelton's blindside, who himself is considered one of the better QB prospects in the country and broke multiple passing records at Fordham.  Tysh could project either as a guard or tackle at the next level.

7. FS Jeromy Miles UMASS

http://www.redraiders.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/untitled-12-249x333.jpg

A FS with good size (6'2 210 lbs) and good speed (4.45 forty).  Despite coming from a small program, he has a lot of starting experience as he started all four years at UMASS (and Navy his Freshman year) with 293 tackles 26 PBU and 9 int for his career. Moreover, he is an intelligent player, a good tackler, and most importantly a Cowboys fan!

Undrafted Free Agent WR Kelton Tindal Newberry

http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/56/m_97cf450e880943e7adb6303e6462f8b4.jpg

Extremely fast WR who ran a 4.3 forty at his pro day and registered a 39 inch vertical.  Plus he has some size standing at 6'2 and 200 lbs.  Unfortunately, he is extremely raw and it will take a committed team to develop him into a legit NFL WR.

You are not supposed to know about Konz

Don’t you dare pick him!!!

You have to hate losing more than you love winning.

You missed my boy Akwasi Owusu-Ansah

Though I think a lot more people heard about him after his monster pro day, so I can understand why you left him off.

Mostly I just wanted to get his name out there again. Make me a happy man, Al Davis and draft this kid!

I’ve heard some about Konz, Batten and Tyajdsflkajs (is that how you spell it?) and they are all very intruiging 6th-FA prospects. One or all could make some team very happy.
