A.J. Green ineligible first four games for Georgia
Update at 4:37 p.m.: Green has been suspended the first four games, according to Joe Schad of ESPN. Green reportedly sold his jersey to an agent.
After sitting out the Louisiana-Lafayette game, Green will miss games against South Carolina, Arkansas and Mississippi State.
The All-SEC receiver is also part of the NCAA investigation dealing with players improperly being in contact with agents.
Our No. 1 overall player eligible for 2011 NFL Draft, Green finished last season with 53 receptions for 808 yards and six touchdowns.

Two years in a row that the top receiver prospect gets in some sort of trouble. Why does WR have to be such a diva position?
Honestly
I think the only party hurt by this is Georgia and its viewers. If this were a long suspension, it would hurt Green’s draft stock. As is, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to show off his dominant skillset.

Must've been a jersey from last year, eh?
These kids need a little more room to operate. The NCAA would cut off it’s nose to spite it’s face. I understand the rule I just disagree with the culture that makes this an issue. Hopefully no one else makes or has made this mistake. I’m really disappointed in how many college stars are not playing these first few games.
