Team Draft Strategy
At some point in the near future I plan on working on a mock draft(probably 2 rounds), and I would just appreciate to know draft strategy of all the teams out there. If it is a need based startegy I do not need or want to know team needs becuase I have my own reasonable ideas as to what each team needs.

Chiefs
Pioli seems to go after BPA and good value, not too much to go on with him as a Chief

Check out the war room reports on the left side of the site. There’s some good info in there.

This quote from Rivera from this week:
“That’s a little bit of a stretch in light of the way guys have played. We’ve had a number of guys who have stepped up and played well for us,” Rivera said. “To me, the tackle position is not really a concern. We’ll see. We’ll evaluate.”
Also most have us drating a WR. It is possible but only if someone falls. Like Blackmon somehow possibly falls and he is the best on the board. Not Jeffrey, and maybe Floyd.
I would look CB, OLB, OT, maybe S and maybe MLB now that we know Connor will test the market.
Hurney said BPA
As much as I want defense it if Blackmon falls we’ll probably see him in a Panther jersey
I would love Claiborne, Kirkpatrick, Jenkins or Brown

Fan Base is Calling for defense, Hurney is a BPA kinda guy
With that being said, as a fan base we WANT defense with CB being our biggest need (Personally I want Kirkpatrick, cause Claiboure WILL be gone). But I keep thinking its going to be a shocker, last year everyone was screaming Darius or Bowers, and we SHOCKED THE WORLD. I think we are going to shock the world AGAIN and take a tackle first because he is the BPA. Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa; Jonathan Martin, OT, Standford;or Mike Adams, OT, THE OSU. I think since this is the 2nd draft with Rivera and Hurney they are still getting a fix on what kind of players the other wants. Rivera doesnt seem to be caught up in the hype. (from last years draft) He finds talent in players that most people dont, thats why people said other than Cam we didnt have a sexy draft. With that said he built a hell of a defense in SD with NO SUPERSTARS, and I KNOW thats happening in Carolina on BOTH sides of the ball.

Bills
Not afraid to go BPA. They have a very unique system of picking players, which led to them picking CJ Spiller in 2010 when they had Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch, and then picking Torell Troup to play NT instead of Terrence Cody who was a more protypical size.
The Bills seem to be fans of Best Player Available At A Position Of Need, going after players that will fill holes while upgrading the talent and depth on the roster.

Chargers
Generally seem to target solid picks with high positional value early. Think good of the field and capable of playing all 3 downs. And not CB
Winning
More on the Chargers
As long as AJ smith is still the GM then expect them to reach on players who play positions that are needs for the team and not necessarily the BPA.

Bengals
CB is our biggest need, and many Mock’s have a CB coming, if all of the top tier CB are gone, then Bengals will either go OT or BPA.
All this is nullified if Trent Richardson is still available.
check out my mock

Giants draft BPA but also target "skill" positions early
Look at the last 5-10 years, we draft a lot of WRs, DEs, and CBs early. Also DTs, but we are full on them now.
Rams here
trade down first to take advantage of the RGIII sweepstakes. What the hell, if no trade down before the pick, pick him and trade down after. I know you said you know team needs but please help us protect our QB as beast you can. We have a decent guard in Dahl and a decent RT in Saffold, that’s it. So draft who you want but we need those big uglies addressed at some point. Also we don’t have a 5th so more picks would be the first priority for that reason. Thanks and godspeed my man.

Panthers
Organization is looking to take a strong BPA approach.
Needs in order:
CB – LB – FS – DT – OL – WR
