2012 NFL Draft: Justin Blackmon going pro
After Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, the most surefire junior to enter the 2012 NFL Draft was Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.
He was honored along with the the Cowboys' seniors on Senior Day before the Oklahoma game. He's had consecutive seasons of 1,300 yards and 1,700 yards receiving and caught 35 touchdowns over the past two years. What's more, he'll be losing his quarterback in senior Brandon Weeden.
On Wednesday, Blackmon made it official with ESPN.com that he'll be entering the NFL Draft.
"I'm pretty sure that it will be (my last game)," Blackmon said about the upcoming Fiesta Bowl against Luck and Stanford. "I think it's just time. It's that time to go. I came back last year to win a Big 12 championship, set us up for a BCS bowl and I think we did that."
That sound you may have just heard was the fans of the St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Jacksonville Jaguars. Each looks like they'll have a top five pick in April and have needs at wide receiver. All season, Blackmon has been considered one of the three best wide receivers eligible for the draft, and may have surpassed Notre Dame's Michael Floyd and South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery for the top spot.

I was pretty sure he'd come out when
he got honored on OK State’s Senior game.
Can't stand the truth?

I agree that he won’t make it pass that grouping.

When the job is finished no one remembers how long it took, just how well it was performed.

This guy is going to be really good, I think he’ll be like Anquan Boldin. He isn’t a burner but he has good speed and he is really sudden and violent with all his movements, thats what makes me like him so much. He has good short area quickness, he has good hands, he attacks the ball in the air and he is very good at tracking the deep ball and adjusting to it.
Michael Floyd is up there with him too.

Alshon Jeffrey?
Flacco has to trust his receivers to make catches, but shouldn’t throw towards coverage. He needs to attack deep more often, but shouldn’t hold onto the ball so long. He needs to show more awareness in the pocket and move to extend plays, but nothing good comes of him leaving the pocket. He should run with the ball if nobody’s open, but he definitely can’t run with the ball.
Flacco should have the awareness of Roethlisberger, the elusiveness of Vick, the control of the offense of Manning, the leadership of Brady, the accuracy of Brees, and the arm strength of … Flacco? - Ampallang
since when did he have to surpass Jeffrey and Floyd?
