Georgia pro day airing live on ESPN3 today

Today's pro days: Georgia, Iowa State, Mississippi, Nevada, South Dakota State

When Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green and pass rusher Justin Houston work out for personnel men at 10 a.m., you can follow along on ESPN3.

While they may be the two standout players today, the Bulldogs have a few others to keep an eye on. Offensive lineman Clint Boling is a tackle who will probably have to kick inside to guard. There, he can mask his quickness issues some and take advantage of his ability to finish off blocks.

Today, though, should mean the most for linebacker Akeem Dent. He didn't do positional drills at the NFL Combine and really needs today to help his stock. He's a versatile linebacker who played inside in Georgia's 3-4. Previously, he was an outside linebacker in the 4-3.

Star-divide

Another player who needs a good day today is Mississippi defensive tackle Jerrell Powe. The massive run stuffer has done little to help his NFL Draft standing since the end of the 2009 season. People sometimes question the importance of pro days. If Powe helps himself today, it will be a proof of concept.

With so many teams needing a quarterback, Nevada's pro day should get a lot of attention. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been a buzz worthy player since the Combine. The 49ers, Dolphins, Titans, Broncos and Chiefs all reportedly have interest in the lanky signal caller.

The interest in Kaepernick should help get more eyes on Nevada linebacker Dontay Moch. A pure speed guy who should be a special teams star, Moch will get another chance to show his incredible athleticism today.

Please don’t let Houston rip it up. I would really like him to be a raven.

Well apparently he ran a 4.57 so that’s not helping my chances.

He would love to play there

He said in an interview last year that his dream scenario would be to play alongside Ray Lewis when he entered the league.

SE: If you had a chance to meet him, what would you ask him?
JH: I don’t know. I’d just love to be on the sideline with him on gamedays. I’d just love to see how the team gathers around him and listens to him. They show that man so much respect. I wouldn’t mind being in the huddle with that guy.
